I agree! for me p1i is almost perfect!
The only things it lack are 5-way nagivation keys and 30fps 640x480 video. then I wont think of any other phone.

hi to all p1i users! jst wanna ask where to install applications for p1i here in the phils....pls...hw about watching tv through this phone? im already using this phone about 2months but have'nt found stores here installing applications for it.does it need an antivirus prog?
i love this phone.i think its the best smartphone today because it doesnt hang evnthough i use lot of applications..long battery life nd great camera.its like an all-in-1 fone.both for entertainment,pleasure,business..for those still deciding on what fone to buy,this is it!its cheaper than n95 but good quality..i think wi-fi is not too fast but still can catch up our need for web browsing..music player sounds loud too.it has a business card scanner,msword nd exel which is really very uselful especially for bsness and also to students there which acts like a mini laptop..design is also great and decent,not for show off unlike other p series but not bulky nd got 3x memory..
well,im not paid here for promoting or advertising this phone.im jst telling you my experience in using this phone coz i really enjoy using it..i was a nokia user before but SE has more features nd good quality.SULIT po ung 20k n pinambili ko..nd i think it costs nowadays 16k-22k here in the philippines..

I use them pretty often to download Email, music and surf the net. and i was showing that Shayn is talking bull. Ye so some people in N82 opinions got lemons,it happens,ive seen similar complaints about P1, GET OVER IT.

Tsepz_N81, will you please stop comapring n82 with P1i? P1i isnt inferior to any phone. never.
Can i just ask how many times in each day you need to use HSDPA and EDGE? duh? in evry call or SMS you send? otherwise your working for a tech company may be.
N82 as a very stable phone? IM sorry but as what ive read in the opinions of N82 users here in gsmarena.com, there are so many bugs and freeze with n82. You can't boast the 5MP camera here since P1i is built with 3.15 MP only. You rather compare it to K850 instead.
Demand paging is not an issue here. You only mentioned theRAm upon boot, well how about when you run the applications? And just to advise you, p1i is visible under direct sunlight even if it doesnt support 16M color.
Finally, you guys who compares the phones, go to your own phone's forums. You will find a lot of support from guys using the same phone as yours.poncegail

I am looking 2 buy a phone but following are my concerns,
1)Nokia N82 - also operates on symbian- can it serve the business purpose.
2)Flash is not adequate in indoor conditions.
3)p5i- when is it expected in India.

Get P1i n den after 6 - 8 months get P5i which will be cheaper by then ! If not wait for P5i which will be 10x better than P1i.
You wont be disspointed with P1i my cousin has one n it is amazing the phone :) better than Nokia Symbian OS 9.x phones !
Nokia Symbian vs P1i Symbian:
- Nokia Symbian OS Freezes (Too many bugs)
- P1i (doesnt freeze, not that many bugs)
- Out of Memory on Nokia
- P1i has extra memory for opening more applications at same time better than Nokia Symbian
- Nokia Symbian OS not Touch Screen
- P1i Touch Screen
- Nokia Symbian OS Restarts too many Randomly
- P1i does not even restart randomly !

hi everyone, i was wondering since there is no dedicated music button on P1, is it possible to adjust the volumes of the music player without unlocking the phone?
i want to upgrade my K790, but i'm torn between between P1 and W960, hard choice!! :|

Great phone the best smart phone I've used so far. Wanted to have a phone and pocket pc, mp3, video player, tv viewer, at least a 3.2 megapixel camera, great themes, office, email, wifi etc. handy light the best.
Have just one question .... everything else seems to work on my phone except one thing .... I cant seem to get MMS feature working. Upgraded my software, been to my provider ... nothing. But Im able to get email, surf, watch on line TV etc. 3G calls .. does anyone know ow to activate the MMS of this phone? Also been able to download and use some software but a few others seems to be not compatible .... is there a software converter that i could use .... when I download ebooks ... a "not able to read/recognize" message comes out .. what do I do? The software says it can run on a SE P1i ... there must be a converter or something ...help please ... thanks ... abi

when will the p1i be availble @ vodacom(south africa) mtn has it for R5680.00 !!:-(!! Also: does 'MXit' work on this phone?
