there is no provision of backup facility same like in nokia phones(backup of calender, contacts, messages, settings, notes all together in a single backup file stored in microsd ). it would be better if they have the backup facility same like in nokia.

in ur previous Post u also told me that thing P1i not opening Text file Size more then 160kb now what in New Firmware?

I haven't tried the RH007 firmware but the RJ005 is definitely a good update bcoz it makes the phone render faster.
If you can update to the RJ005 firmware, i recommend that you do.
Is the Sandisk 8gb m2 already available? How bout here in pinas?

Did anybody try Sandisk 8Gb memory card?
The product page says for P1i: "Maximum capacity for this device: May support up to 8GB

to all the "still thinking buyer"...this is the best phone i ever brought, i used bunch of phone b4, finally i end up with this perfect phone, it does hang n will restart, just to recruit it performance, and it not away, like only once a month, it has everything u need, wifi n 3.2mp cam is just wonderful, 128 ram inside makes it very fast, compare to n95..i used it b4, the only good is n95 got many s60 software n games compare to p1, but if u are not keen in games n software,in between i running the iphone software n interface in my p1,it alot better than the origin iphone, tat dun have 3g..so p1 is the best...

Oops, sorry. Upgrading firmware by your own, I mean. Firmware upgrades in the Flips has to be done through SE Service Centers.

Folks,
For those whose CDAs still in G007 firmware and without upgrade to J005, stick with G007. H004 is terribly slow. It takes 10-15 seconds to look up contacts when creating sms. I had my unit replaced because I had mine upgraded to H004 at a service center. Unfortunately, upgrading firmware in my country will terminate my warranty.

A picture with 320 x 240 resolution or lower will do. anything above that & the picture becomes blurry becoz the phone has to downsample it.
As for the phone firmware, as of the moment i think only the world generic firmware has the available update. Either you have to wait for the available update for the US firmware version OR change your CDA version to World Generic 1. Keep in mind though that changing your CDA also means that you are re-flashing your phone & CAN be harmful. Doing it wrong will make your phone into a rather great looking paperweight. Try reading about it in the numerous other forums in the net or try google about it.

Hello there,
Currently all my Contact Pictures' width & lenght in Microsoft Outlook are about 2.5cm * 4 cm respectively and their resolution are between 180 dpi to 300 dpi.
Pictures' size are also all under 100 kb.
After synching the mobile with my PC, when I get a call and the contact's picture appears on mobile screen, it looks blurred and seems very low quality.
What is the best picture diameter, size and resolution for Contact Picture to get a good (or at least normal !) result on the SE P1i screen?

I just bought the phone yesterday and its a beauty.. the sound quality is quite good and the phone has two days of learning time I guess.. The camera is a lil tricky to begin with..
But all of all... its the best phone to buy if you want to mix Business with Pleasure...
