yeah p1i is more "mature". coz this is for "mature" guys having their business.yes p1i is good coz of its touchscreen.if u observe in the hospital almost all medical transcriptionist use PDA coz its easier to access saved files, you can scribble some sketches,and some other save and retrieve applications.this is where p1i comes out...in the other hand, if u KNOW how to use ur n95, surely there are infinite capability surprises that is brought to by this n95 phone.Speaking of saving files-n95 has lots of USB mode such as mass storage and etc... surely u cant master n95 in just couple of weeks coz as ive said there are infinite capabilities for you to discover.like they've said...this is what computers had become.

I think my phone has memory leaks i had the phone on for a day the memory was at 73.3MB, i took pictures with the camera and ended the camera application with task manager. When i looked at the memory after it dropped to 72.5MB

Jim,
I own the two phones P1 and the N95 and is very clear to me that the P1 is a much better phone a lot more mature. The only advantage the N95 has is the built in GPS.

tell u the truth, not becoz we not afford to buy, nw i gt se p1i and nokia n95, so the truth is p1i better than n95...so cant say not afford to buy, ok...nia sing

wifi g will only increase battery consumption. And the fast connection cant be handled by a mobile processor that much of a desktop. So wifi b is more than ok for mobile browsing. With the form factor, n95 feels so much cheaper than a calculator. The slider is creaky with no spring. I only like the tv output of my n95 over my p1. And camera wise my p1 takes better pictures out of much compression of n95.

I was forced to go for the P1 as my choice, w-950 was discontinued in my country, but seriously, I'm not disappointed with the P1. It's got better hardware, extremely crisp sound on the external speaker, excellent office software and software compatibility, and very good 3.2 MP camera. Music software is excellent, and has all the stuff I need. Apart from the camera, I rate it above Nokia N-95. Actually, I was not a real fan of SonyEricsson before I bought this phone.

Hey Guys could some one tell me about the signal of the phone.
Coz normaly i find in sonyErricson's we hardly get signal in low signal areas when compared to Nokia.
How about ths phone?

i agree with ace. If u wan business > multimedia + high tech, then choose p1i, else go for n95 or 8gb

to AK47...p1i is a better phone compared to its predecessor the p800-p990. but if compared to n95, i can say that n95 is better.
n95:
1.sound quality and volume is louder and crisp.
2.both n95 and p1i has a translective display-still clear under direct sunlight. but n95 has a light sensor which automatically adjust its brightness in a specific environment(yeah its cool).so u dont have to adjust manually.remember,higher brightness can drain battery faster.
3.have u tried surfing the net with slow connection?it irritating right?n95 is way faster than p1i.coz of its wlan"g" compared to "b"in p1i..sumtimes im not satisfied with the speed of "g", so how much more with the"b"???
4.features?--n95 will just keep u surprise!
5.form factor-both have elegance.but for me n95 is way better sophisticated.(others find n95 cheap coz they havent seen the real one.maybe they just saw the "dummy" model that are in the display stores.p1i looks like my casio fx-991MS calculator.(no keedin').
but if u like a BUSINESS phone where u can store ur files with ease, p1i is for u coz it has a touch screen.

This trully is BEST device ever! Perfect 10 of 10!
For those who think this device is slow --- use task manager to close programs, u probably have dozen programs running in background

Amin, i agree wif u,donno y gt ppl still comment tis and that,tis phone reli excellent,good and etc, but still gt ppl comment on it...maybe they jealous on it....
