Click on battery then setting then power here from adjust brightness as low as u will keep that will b work fine (About Timing) Depends on ur use (Outgoing Calss)

I think Sony Ericsson P900 is very good mobile and I did not see any mobile like this.

Hi Guys
I bought this sony p900 on ebay. The screen was working well. When i did master reset, you can not use the stylus at all. When u tap the screen at a point it gives u battery status.
How can u restore the screen settings? And i shd use the jog dial coz the stylus cant work here :)

As with everything this phone has it's pros & cons. Being a SonyEricsson lover I grabbed this phone the first chance I got. To me it was a great phone. It had a lot of useful features and I especially loved the scheduler. The video & still camera weren't exactly what I expected but it they worked for me.

Fantastic and sexy phone for when it came out, but after a year or so get ready to buy all sorts of spare parts for this coz it starts falling apart. Its all because it's not durable. There is no screen protector and it's all plastic. It will get scratched real easily, and since it is aimed for rich people, se knows that these people won't get all fussy and buy the p910i...it's all taught beforehand. This phone is made to fall apart after a year or so. Trust me. I have two of these

reduce its brightnes as u can or as easy for u to see me reduced its brightness to 12% and thats best for me battery timing is good as i want

i have this phone and although there is a lot of good stuff my battery only lasts like 4 to 5 hours then its dead any opinions

Hi Dear hope so u will b fine dear i have told u in detail how we can check the phone even its all functions Ok now try to set its calibration go to control pannel then display then screen then calibrate screen touch on 3 points that will b set.
if still u r facing any proble then u got faulty unit
thats very simple to check the phone we have no need to hasitate to check the set when we r going to buy it so please make sure u got the right thing Abdul Qadeer if still u face any kind of any pronblem u may contact with me here

To abdul qadeer: get a new fone becoz if u continue to use it, u will only get annoyed. There can be a chance that ur p900 is not made of original components. Next time u buy a p990, make sure u buy it from a trusted vendor or buy it directly from sony ericsson agent mobile provider. Good luck.

dear friends i have a very serious problem regarding abt my p900.the prob is abt my p900 touch system.my touch system is not ok .i touch at some place but the action is donr at some other place.suppse i want to touch on signales the i touch on i centimete left.
is there any solution ,then plz plz plz tell me.is there hardware or softwaere prob?

p900 is cool because even though it is more than 2 years in the market, its price doesn't depreciates easily unlike nokia phones. hope p900 can exceed its memory stick.because it can only reached its maximum memory stick of 128mb..

Some Answers :
Hans (1) : The name of preinstalled Solitaire game in P900 and P910 is just "Solitaire"
that is the text that apears in the application picker (in Unfiled cathegory) and
that is the name it is referred in Help.
Hans (2) : Answer of AAML (long story) :
The memory stick size and DUO capabilities are software limited, internal
hardware supports both PRO and >128 mb cards. Originaly it was said that the phone can
only support normal DUO (non-PRO) cards up to 128 MB because Sony did not make non-PRO
sticks with a higher capacity. Third party companies (licensed to make memory sticks)
released 256 and 512 mb non-PRO duo's. From here the argument if these cards will work
on P800 and P900, i think they do, at least on p900 however no official details were
published about this. Now, PRO DUO's, as i said limitaition is only software-based
because SE wanted to sell P910 they did not release an upgrade to P900 to make it compatible
with these high speed and capacity sticks because it would have made P910 unwothy of extra
cost (compard to P900). However some anonymous guy patch the firmare for P910a to work on
P900 (the phone canbe flashed at any gsm-service store with a Cruiser cable), thus bringing
to P900 PRO DUO up to 1GB capability, built-in Word, excel and PDF readers, (bluetooth
headset and GSM900 netwok functionality are again in a state of argument) and other software
features of P910. Someone said it used a 2GB PRO DUO on a flashed P900 (currently only a rumour).
Robert : The number of messages P900 can store is not defined, it is only limited by the free
space on internal memory.
NICK : Sorry, no, P800/900/910 can not save messages on the memory stick, although the OS is
a modification of Symbian 7.0 the feature is not present. Yu can use a third party application
like MSGSaver witch can make a human-readable backup of your messages to any file.
turo : as I said in the ansewr for Hans (2), it may be possible to read MS DUP non-PRO higher than
128 MB (not sold by sony), however unlike P900 , there is no hardware support for PRO DUO's,
there is no way with any firmare that a P800 could read MS DUO PRO.
