cool phone. you can do more with this device than a nokia one, and to think its been out for almost 3 years or more. just wished it has a more durable casing that won't scratch easily and can accomodate a higher memory stick without changing firmwares. other than that, great phone.

U may get this set this amazing great easy to use lot of softwares more then ur thoughts no doubt in that in true means thats PDA
100 times better then Nokia-6630 otherwise every Man has hi taste i like P-Serires very much but instead of P-990 thats crap in very high price P-800 -900 -910i r the best

There is two kind of locks 1 is with password and the other is Manul lock So Dear which lock about u r talking If u r talking about screen Lock then its very simple if u r using Flip then press Menu key and then Star * Key
If not using Flip then Away JOg Dial or Press JOg Dial
If the password about u r talking then u have to contact any MObile shop

U r talking about 600+ msgs in my point of think thats depend on ur phn memory thats can b more then 600 or also can b less then 600 thats only depend on ur Phn Memory

my opinion about this phone is...
first of all about the casing...
it can easily scratches
and now my phone is all scratched
the casing in indonesia[where i live] cost a lot of money...
so...i totaly regret buying this phone,,,
i'd rather buy a new Nokia 3250

I used to have 600+ sms in my inbox of P900 and outbox each. At that time phone started to run out of memory. Then it locked up. I try to keep it below 200 or so.

wassup,
this is the new generation of mobile communication......has all the features u need in a mobile phone!the only problem is the external memory....obviously if you have the money to buy this phone you have a little money to spend on a 128MB memory stick......
other than this;the phone is magnificient!!!!is a "gangsta" mobile if u ask me!!!!..
u might think that the p910 & the p990 will be better choices but if look at them properly the model that sony corp. came up with after this are all BIG rip-offs....
so if youre looking for a new sony-ericsson mobile the p900 is the ultimate choice!!!!!!

You can upgrade memory of this phone so you can insert memory stick pro duo up to 1 GB..you can do this by upgrading your firmware to the firmware of P 910i..i bee you'll succeed..

I have tried memory stick pro duo 256 mb and 512 mb, none of them is readable to this phone..it can only handle 128 mb memory stick regular or memory stick duo only with larger capacity..

There is Memory stick duo which is non pro above 128 MB. But it's kinda hard to find/get..usually they sold memory stick pro duo for capacity larger than 128 MB..
