ff-up post>>> i had a problem with it when i used it for the first time... common problems are slow function and hanging problems. but after i have upgraded the firmware for 3 times, my p990i right now is in excellent function... jaw-dropping speed. i guess, you should download antivirus since viruses make your phone function slowly.... and check for the updates and update your firmware whenever necessary.

all i can say is... p990i is great! i have been changing mobile phones every 6months since 2003... at this point of time, p990i made me soooooooo satisfied. with the features... 2MP, MP3, FM radio, and the best of all>>> WiFi... these are the basic features THAT A MOBILE PHONE SHALL HAVE!!! IT IS BULKY TO MAKE YOU COMFORTABLE OF HANDLING IT ESP. WHEN BROWSING THE WEB! 101% SATISFIED!

I upgraded from a p900, the p990 software is really really bad, constantly locking up, the phones full of bugs, i've even ugraded the firmware, still lots of anoying problems
i wouldsteer clear o this device, a huge disopointment!

i have a problem with my P990i.
it starts to HANG WHEN I OPEN MY MAIN MENU OR MESSAGE. I CANT EVEN REFORMAT MY P9 BECAUSE I CANT OPEN THE MENU.
How can i reformat my P9
Do i need programs after doing so?
CAN SOME1 HELP ME PLEASE?????

802.11b runs at a max wireless speed of 11mbps. 802.11g runs at 54mbps. with this comparison, 802.11g is better.

hi everybody.would you please tell me about the difference between the kinds of WLANs Wi-Fi802.11b/g(which is in most nokia phones)and Wi-Fi802.11g(which is in nokia N80)and Wi-Fi802.11b(which is in sony ericsson p1&p990)?do you know which one is faster?

SEVERE PROBLEM
i am having a severe problem in my fone.The fone hangs and then wen i take the battery out and try to start again...it does not start...then again i get the battery out and insert but fone does not turn on...After a hundred tries the fone turns on...
can anyone tell me wats this and how to solve it and has anyone experienced the same prob

try to refresh ur phone take out ur battery and sim for about 5 to 10mins,, hehehe

P990i is a good phone just bought mine but it does not have incall voice recorder but u can record external sounds.
but in all trust me u would never regret u bought this phone.
you shall learn new things by the day even me a phone freak have to learn new things every day.
trust me do not throw the idea of purchasing this phone cos it does not have incall recorder.

i am using this phone nearly four months.still i have some issues with this phone,if some one can help me i really really tks for him.
1.how can listen to the internet radio ( like O2)
2.phone has mentioned it has latest opera version.pls give some hints how can i use it.
3.how can i download msn messenger? ( is this phone comfortable with this facility?)

dont buy this fone
i have bin using this phone for last 3 months.i have tried tons of different things (updates and all)but i dont think there is any solution to the hanging problem.The phone keeps n keeps on crashing after every while...
very very pooor fone i must say

All P990i lovers
Install the free beta edition of GDESK on yr handsets. U can customise yr mobile screen. Place the required icons of the applications used by u on the screen. Mobile works faster. Applications open in a jiffy. Trust me there r no bugs
