Yes thats new firmware Unknown person u have to use ur common sense what i asked and what u r saying i saked that thats CDA or phone?
There is nothing bad if u r asking some thing to some one thats ur common sense which way u will take this
Now the set is fast new option in Music spoken word MP3 sound is good now then before set is over all fast now
Now 100time better then R9G007
after R9F011 i like this R9GA001 thats very very good
Unknown person with common sense my delivery report time is not as the message sent on time wrong time shows whats this? i checked this thing with 2 other network sims but not happening in 910i
i will wait unknown person with common sense and thaks alot telling me for common sense

its not a hardware...you just have to use ur phone to calibrate it....but unfortunately i cant remember wer it was lol so if anybody here knows where to calibrate the screen pls post so you can help anyone.....cheers

no buddy...the screen is not broken..and what do u mean by calibrating the screen...whether its some hardware problem or some software problem....????

Dear shakeel,please install 'sony ericsson' update service in your pc and plug&play. you don't need to find firmware virson, if any new one is coming our SE alert you automaticly.

hey,
i hav a p990i n m facing some trouble with it.
1stly all of a sudden the speaker of it has become very soft...it isnt as loud as it was. it isnt that laer either. the hardware has no problem and i checked the volume also was maximum.
2ndly whenever i receive a msg it shows the msg date as 1 day ahead. for eg if i hav recieved a msg 2day ie 4th aug,2007... the msg will show that it is recieved on 5th aug,2007 even though i hav got it on the 4th.
can any one pls help me out with these problems of it.

just got the p990i 3 weeks ago and its QUALITY, if you can put up with the fact its slightly bigger than average handset then you'll love the phone, fun packed, high spec, unbelievable photo quality for 2mp, and with internet access through wifi as well ITS A WINNER!!!!!!!!!!1

i hv bought p990i last month. in my phone when a call is coming during i m listening music the ringtone didn't rings. it even playing music and when i m not near my phone i didn't came to know about the incoming call. plz help regarding this.. thanks yaar

Rizwan is correct. why did i understand and get Rizwan's message right away and you dont? because i used my common sense. search google with R6E28 and a lot of website will show up talking about the new firmware. everybody knows it and you're the only one trying to be smart saying Rizwan is alphabetically wrong and not possible.

Bought P990i a week ago. This is my first Smartphone. Its a great phone. I am amazed at things we can do with Smartphone. They are a replacement for Laptop. P990i is a great one. I love browsing net, mails. Check out new software for the phone.
One feature I love is Wi Fi. Its are great releaf for me coz P990i doesn't have EDGE. There is no 3G in India, widely used is EDGE. I am just exploring this phone. Will keep it till I get iPhone in India.

With the new firmware update, Sony P990 is very fast and does not hang at all even with 4 appz opened at the same time. The best PDA phone for under $350. If you don't buy it now, you'll ended up buying a used one on EBAY. If new P990 are sold out, the price of this phone might go back up again.
YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT IF YOU BUY THIS PHONE. YOU GOING TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH THIS PHONE THAN WITH YOUR GIRL FRIEND.
