                to rheyr:
if you updated the firmware version to R9 with an organizer version R5A17 or later R5 version, then you'll have the opportunity to turn off the transition effects o increase menu speed and save more RAM.

                  "SE and Moto sucks!!?????????"

The sentence was improperly used,it must be "P990 sucks" or "RAZR sucks" if you hated one or more of it's phones, but not all of them actually because you havent used "all" of it's products ever since. anyway those who complain the P990 issue do not know how to use UIQ 3 phones carefully. a certain device needs care and proper way of troubleshooting if theres a problem encountered(no single device in this world that doesn't bring annoyance to the user. so why are you all staring here on this site if you don have nothing to say but to bash? seems like the phone is not meant for you, that's simple. the phone has a dedicated target market of users, just like calvin, doministry and other happy users of P990. due to the fact that a usual person just gaze at the specs on paper while not researching very well on how to use them intimately. so they wrangle SE due to their own faults they didn't know that they made. change your outlook towards a mobile phone, then you'll get what you wanted.

                              Great features, bad phone!!!
Sony Ericsson has constantly proving that their ahead of the competition when it comes to features, but constantly let me down with the software to support these features. I was lured by features contained in the Sony Ericsson P990i esp the WI-FI, but after only a week of usage the constant freezing became unbearable. At times it freezes and could only be resumed by removing and replacing the battery. I thought memory was an issue, but despite the additional free 512MB of memory, the unit still froze. Prob Sony Ericsson and Nokia needs to team up and make the ultimate mobile

i cannot get my PC to recognise my P990i with the USB cable. I have installed he latest PC sync software from Sony site as well as updated the phone software but still no joy. I also tried the bluetooth connect but that fails as well. Any ideas

you dont need to buy a p990i that has a the latest software, and that will be very hard... U can just really update ur phone for just around 10-20min.... better internet connection means faster update ^_^

i dont know why the price of p990i is dropping very fast.. the price here in the philippines is 15K already... so fast!!! when it was first released here the price was 45K, now its only 15K damn...
