Don't get this phone, I love the old P900, last for ever, work well most of the time. But the new P990, it hangs, had to shut down to improve service/speed, can not read SIM card, its rubbish. If this is the best SE can come up with they will be in trouble.

In hadwriting recognition you write each letter separately.

I got a faulty P990 my jog dial just broke took it to the Dominican orange yesterday and they said they weren't supposed to fix it instead they were gonna charge me a lot, after fighting against that they said they were gonna talk to SE to see what they said, i´m so unsatisfied both with orange and SE.

hello guys what will happenj if u didn'[t charge your new p990i for 4 hrs after it was drained? i am referring to the initial charging// i only charge it for 3 hrs :(

To anyone having slow phone problem: format the memory stick from within the phone not from the pc. P990 only supports the FAT16 partition table. Conversion to FAT32 or NTFS just slows it down.

every body that wants to buy this , please lestin to me varefully ; this divise is so bad , very bad , i have a lot of device in several mobile family like nokia , samsing , lg and ... ( nokia : n90 , n70 , n73 , n80 * samsung : d820 , d900 , d600 , .. * sony : p910 , k800 , ... ) so i couldn't find a bad divice like this between them
it hangs a lot
very poor in sound

very bad camera
when you install a software it reastart a lot and hangs
.............
please don't buy it
p 910 is very better than it

R9ECOO1 is wat i got and its just spent the week at vodafone,,i got it back tuesday and got home to try it..Utter rubbish it started off great just getting themes set and general getting fone back to how i have it and crash,,just absolutly nothing so out come battery..Off we go again as i started to update music collection and on it went for 15 minutes so i decided to come out of music player to try something else but it stuck again,, put battery back in again to see at least can get music going and after ages my music list was done SO pressed on screen to play song and it just sat there like a useless dollop so thru it on bed and sat there seriously raged and really ready for nervous breakdown and after about 2 minutes it burst into life to play song...Any way it crashed after trying to make playlist and really cannot be arsed with it,,,it has 273 songs on it exactly the same 273 song on my n73 and that copes if somwat very slowly..To tell you the truth i dont think they did bugger all with it its got same firware and all it came back with from voda uk was a test txt mssge on it ???I DONT KNOW WAT TO DO AT MOMENT CAUSE VERY NARKED SO NEED TO CALM DOWN BUT IM NOT FINISHED YET

Hi guys, Iv been tring to update the software for my p990i Orange UK, but everytime i open service update (download from SE site) it tell me their is no updates for the phone, but I have heard there is one? HELP. Thanks Reg

Hi I have the firmware (R9EC001)and I am trying to update my handset with the latest one R9F011. But when I connect to SEUS it says no need to update as latest firmware is there on my handset. Please help,,,

guys my p990i shuts down automatically sometimes. and it says to strenghten performace etc.... any idea why this is happening. tks
