hey guys i just updated my phone.. and it says R9EA001 not R9EC001 is this thing the same or EC001 is much updated than of EA001.... but so far so good on the new upgrade no hung ups yet... take care people godbless

I dont understand about Branded or unbranded, because in indonesia we buy this without bundling with operator like in europe or america(vodafone,o2,cingular,etc). So please tell me what do you mean about that. To amir:
what's your problem with r9? R9 is not stable enough?

Yes it is normal behaviour. When you scroll the jog dial icons appear.
To Ariefs:
Bad news - your phone is branded so you get the firmware which is possible for your brand. The difference between R7 and R9 is HUGE. No comparison. R9 is stable and quick. R7 has problems.

Help me! My p990 has upgrades yesterday but when i check the phone software version at system info,there is still R7 version appears. i want R9 but where i can found this firmware? Is there preinstall 3D games at R9?what's difference R7 and R9? I need an answer ASAP. Thanks

Need advice.
When flip closed, do you all guys see four icons or only one menu. Only sometimes i see four icons when flip closed !!! I dont see it some time....Is this correct behaviour.

In contacts you can add any number of fields. If you want to add Fax you go to the green "i" over the contact in the edit mode, it is address there, you can add fields there, also the fax. All the other numbers are in the other place.

the P990i has a great sound quality with walkamn player better than K750 but the K750 has a louder speaker but if u care about music so much you should go for the W series

Guy go to update your firmware! R9EC001 is out and after the upgrade the menu is more snappy and the difference can be told instantly.

you can download free themes from zedge.com but if the themes didn't work there is something wrong with your phone and for the softwares and applications actually i didn't find something good for free all the good stuff will cost you

This is horrible orange Menu, installed in all Orange phones. Rather don't buy it. Better buy it from SE directly.
