Not sure if anyone could help but i have the singpore organizer software and when i try to write with my stylus it only writes in chinese? Does the phone recognize english?

what are this ppl talking about small screen this screen ia wider than 910 the screen diff is 2mm guys 2 mm go measure if you think i am lying.i had the p 910 and now 990 the screen of 990 is much much better even whan browsing in landscape mode which was impossible in 910 and its just 2mm shorter dont just look its wider in sq cms 2mm shorter so cone on guys you are talking like its about 1 inch short or something its not its just 2 mm shorter.

Very advanced and well equiped, but old fashioned design.
I like it but I cannot persuade myself to buy it because of the old design.

P990i is a Black Label on SE.Even after updateas fresh as 26th july its is nothing of a plus.The prices hav fallen to 50% ad used phones plenty n market,what is the charm of buying brand new,when only 3hours available at half price,logic why people sold theirs obvious total HANGED Phone.Only immediately P1010 be launched to save P Series but actually nothing is in pipeline===

Cool phone..Just got it last Saturday.Never encounter any issue when updating the new software.Luv it alot.Hope SE have more software updates & sure it will be the BEST phone ever....

screen is small-keypad too big-flip is downright ugly and uselss, considering one of its main uses is to cover the big screen in the p series. But this time, Where is the big screen? This is like a ferrari with a fiat's engine in it. opt for the p910 instead. Plug in a wifi sd card if you fancy wifi on a pda.

Well put AZZA you carry on preaching it brotha. This Phone RULES. I think the Nav works for Nokia Ha Ha! Trying to put people off the P990.

nav shut your face, flashing a fone is installing new software... its like upgrading windows 98 to xp... changes everthing, THINK about it, SE did have some issues with the first batch of phones they made as do all companys... this can easily be fixed by flashing it, the pc suit does not give a time because it DEPENDS on your computers processor ect on how fash it can get the information, i can format my m600 in 3 min, you may have a rubbish computer so it takes longer, try it, SE have sold thousand of these phones and only had a dozen return due to faults, grat phone, great build, great software!

Hey, this phone Sucks and so does the company. I bought this phone because it has all the feature but GUESS WHAT? None of them work properly. The pic viewer hangs, the music player hangs, the add on applications on the card hang and it just keeps running out of memory even though no application is on.
I wrote to SE about the problems I am facing but no reply or reply comes in 4 - 5 days and that too avoids the real issues.
Have updated the software from the SE update service (which also sucks because it has a flash based start screen with music and that is totally not needed. it also does not tell you how long it will take or what version is being added or updated) but still the phone hangs.
Went to the SE website and got the service center numbers only to get even more frustrated. Most dealers don't pick up the phone. Those who do, do not service SE any more.
So the real conclusion is: the company is fooling people and taking them for a ride.

Hi guys just want to let any one know who would like to buy a P990 that it is the best phone ever. It has a couple of glitches but nothing too serious. could someone please answer the WAP question. Thanks

Just wanted to ask all the +ve P990i users, what does the box pack read for your Month of Manufacture and Month of Import? Would August 2006 for manufacturing and September 2006 for import would be a good choice to buy the phone?? What does your box read??

Video clips, like 1 or 2 songs in a concert, is working perfectly, but one full length movie is not working. Is it because RAM is insufficient? Maybe a video player (e.g. Smartmovie or DIVX player to be installed in this unit) can solve this problem.

again and agian i will tell everybody N95 is a different phone.
you can't compare P990 with the N95.
I believe that nokia need a lot of time to produce phones like P990.
If you like nokia go ahead with nokia but don't say bad things about SE P990 cause it is in my openion will be after the update the greatest phone in the world.

cant get zedge,,mobilethemes .com or mobile 9 .com themes to go on p990i.Comp cant open them either non work???All themes for my other fones all work.Am using uiq s/e p990i themes but no luck but need somthing with darker features.
