Check out the Orange web site, i called them a few weeks ago, think they are going to be the first to release it, may be the end of this week. Although I have been down this road with Orange before, they might just be saying that to make there customers go with them. Vodafone do tend to me quick off the mark though.

Just thought I would let readers in the UK know that Vodafone have a fixed and final date of 8th September for release of the P990 and I'm reliably informed they will be the first network, followed closely by O2. Vodafone call centres will have them several days before the stores. Voda have had the phones for 2 weeks but been taking their time to print the Vodafone logos on the shell (?) and load the Voda menus, software, 3G etc.

this phone does not have EDGE.please anyone know about the effect of this lack.and most of SE phones doesn't have EDGE why?

P990i comes with sound recording program but I dont think it can record Call Conversations...I Think it will need 3rd party Program to do that.
P990i CPU: 32-bit ARM9 based @ 208 MHz
People are bashing SE for the insane price, Its not SE fault, some vendors got it realy and because they are business man, they want to earn as much profit as they can as P990 is still RARE. To those who want to get it early while most of the people dont have it yet will have to pay higher price. Its not SE set insane High pricing. For what i think when SE launcing P990 price, it will be within US$750 - US$850 Range.

hey! i hav the p990 and it sure is cool, this fone rocks. i hav removed the outer keypad.. it looks cool!!! it has alot of softwares and games inside the 64mb card!! and some are from try and buy!! plz buy this fone!! se rocks p990 rocks

FYI: It took SE over than 6 months in order to work out all the bugs, and trim this Phone in order to hit the market! I really doubt that this powerfull machine would have a major bugs...
I cant wait to get mine tomorrow.brbrbrbrbr

im really having doubts about purchasing the 990.. ive heard that there are many bugs with the first set of units that were sold. can some of the people that actually own the unit please post your experiences so far? negative and positive points if possible..thanks

yes, u can use agile mobile messanger it's free of charge and it comes with MSN, YAHOO MASSENGER, AOL...ETC

Is it easy to install and use textprograms? (Like pharmaceutical listings- since I'm a doctor) I know it works on Q-tek/HTC and PDa's of course.

why some people says that k618 have not a good design,not imprasavie why dear why.ple check ur eyes ple donot become selfish ple.i think it have a great look.ple look at nokia,moto,etc cell design ple ple.they r all make ugly design.GOOD LUCK SE

I already ordered mine ysterday $845 USD.
I should be getting tomorrow.. cant wait to hold this baby on my hands... more feedback to come about the phone once I put it under intensive testing...

I have been weighing up buying the E61 nokia, Blackberry 8700, the 9300i nokia and this phone for quite some time now. I am still waiting for this phone to release. Even the customer sales agent from my network provider (O2) could have easily sold me the 8700 Blackberry which I was just about to buy, told me to wait for this model. It better be worth it. Can anyone tell me actually how this phone compares to a Blackberry when accessing email on-the-move?

its already out in manila..not 1000 dollars, about 900-950usd depending where you buy it..as far as if its worth it, im not sure..theres no other phone i feel that can compete with the p990 except for the htc tytn ..
