You lot are nuts, I thought I was bad LOL. July 2006 Orange Catalogue, P990 is set for release on the 7th August, go into an Orange shop and take a look for those of you who are lucky enough to live in the UK. Oh and by the way, I still think this phone is the best on the market, only a few more weeks to wait, YAY.

Cool it! guys, it doesnt matter where the P990i is being released first,we will get our hands on it sooner or later. For those who had already gotten it, kindly test it out first hand n let the others know if the phone is as good as everybody anticipate it. This is not a site where we accused others for lying or saying foul language. This is a site where we inform other potential P990i owner the good n bad of the phone.

Hey Guys! I was the first person here who announced the release of P990 in Tehran. I insist on what I had said and I also confirm that I have seen this hand set in at least 3 shops in Tehran, with price range from $950 to $1025. To all those who can't bear this fact that SE has released P990i in Tehran first, I should say It's True. So just wait for release in your country and stop these stupid nagging and cursing. You can see the price under the P990 image. It is 940,000 “Tomans” which is equal to $1025.

ok. This is how the story is. About a week back I recieved a message from a friend in Tehran mobile market that the P990i has been distributed to the SE dealers. But they are awaiting a final firmware upgrade , and it will be released very soon. I have known by experience in situations like this a few handsets appear in the market(seems like a business strategy for manufactureres to see public reaction after so long a delay). A few years back the same happened to the Nokia 7710, the Nokia official site stated that its not released , but I saw a number of them in the market. I think we have all been acting very immaturely. I dont blame anybody here, but Sonyericsson. Customer services is definately not their bright side. As for me I have been an SE fan for a very long time and my posts to the www.reviewcentre.com on a few handsets specially the P910i has been awarded an experts review. I think P990i would have been a great device 9 months back, and it was atleast 6 months ahead of other then. But today I dont think so. I am happy with my Imate Jamin. Though its not a 3g phone, but its very handy and very easy to work with. However this is not about the Jamin. My suggestion is Amir review the phone in Farsi and send me the script to translate in English, and I will post it here(stating that the review is by Amir). This way many people would know better if the phone really worth a 1000 $ and if they should pay such a huge sum for a phone which might not be very uptodate. Sorry if I insulted anybody here. It will display all specifications .after that click available link on that page.. It will definatly show the price graph in uk...

Does anyone else find this tiring and want to get back on topic? I'll start!
So with the symbian signed in effect it seems that a lot of the favorite programs would be able to be installed in the new symbian 9.1 phones. I have read this with other Nokia phones. But at the same time, it seems that there are not many M600/p990 exclusive programs yet from handango. Would anyone know more about what software are signed or not?

i heard that the p990's internal memory is updated....to 128mb and will support m2 memory also (esao.com) Is that true??

Amir, the hardware specification for the P990i has been changed. How much user memory does your phone have (not RAM but c: drive memory).
