Hi peoples:- RELEASE DATE FOR P990 in the UK will be 8th month of this year (AUGUST).
A SE rep came into my work place today. All being well august is the month. They don't have a date yet.
The M600 will be avaiable once they have a VPN client for it.
Trust me this is 100% correct information for all you P990i lovers.

Everybody they started to send the buissness phones slowly l think 2nd or 3rd one ll be the P990i,otherwise with this walkman phones l dont give them soo much chance in the market,because for 100USD you can get perfect MP3 Player which you can have some gigabytes and u can use soo long years you dont need and we dont need no more WALKMAN PHONES ANYMORE SONYERICSSON,Thanks to all.

I agree with the majority here. I eagerly waited since Sep 05. SE, its very irresponsible!! Since u still cannot confirm availability dates, I'm moving on.....but 2 what? Jashar?

I cannot stand waiting, waiting and waiting, I couldnot be patient any more, why the other brand such as Nokia, Motorola release lots and lost of new products with so much inovatived funtions. I donot wanna change my favorite brand, please release it!

This phone is a joke by now.almoust a year waiting????????????????????? are we stupids or what.there a lot of options allready for us in the market,SE dosnt care.

I agree they must give us a 5 GB+ memory , 3 MP + Camera and a better external / internal keyboard... otherwise they have lost us.

Sony ericsson if ur not releasing the mobile don't unless u have 3mp> cam & 5GB> hard disk min. req.,less than 128MB is too low for this gadget,and a faster processor."Better take tips SE" release it this dec. make it fast.

I think Sony Ericsson have lost me on this one as this phone in my opinion is now outdated... I'm now considering the Nokia N80 as this has a 3 Megapixel cam, quadband, wifi and lots of other stuff included... and guess what! the N80 is actually instock as well!!! come on SE you would now need to come up with something better...

finally,this phone is available! i have baught 4 days ago & it is the best! it costs 749.95€ . not so expensive :-)
& there is the M600 too for 479.95€!!

To al again last year l used 7710 also it is really great phone,the screen and sound is perfect and the other things even l dont want to tell only the problem is after putting inside 1GB card with MP3 songs it is freezing for very long time but the things is from 10 is 9

Hi,to all almost 1 year ago Sonyericsson started to make reklams for the Walkman phones and all the year they just made and sold Walkman phones and after all that delay with all buissness phones l think they ll start new buissness year in september with some buissness phone choices,they dont need to sell anymore walkman phones because there is already in the market 6-7 models,that is enough for them but all year they worked and they didnt release any smartphone now it is started with M600 and it ll finish with P990i or W950i,l dont know yet.l m hoping P990i ll come in some days but l dont believe again.Also l dont think they ll release all M600,M608.W950i,because they dont have the camera,in all that models l think they ll put P990i,that is my idea.l think they are shamed to tell some more new lies but anyway that time pass and now everybody is waiting the phone and also there is no more in the market P910i new boxed,this is showing they dont have any smartphone,if they have to be in the war with the other companies they ll have to do this,soon everybody thanks to all.

This phone has no EDGE, this makes the fatass useless in North America. If I want a Good phone, I'll go with the E61.

hello body!, waiting for p990i?. i also doing this from long time, for god sake... can anybody tell me when SE going to relese p990i?, because before couple of days they launched M600I atleast in INDIA. I dont understand why they hesitating to launch this gadget?. Everybody despirately waiting for this pda. M600 is already launched so I think p990i will be available at end of june. God knows and SE team knows when it launch?. Anyways thanks SE for launching M600 atleast. despirately waiting...........

Every one here is shouting for wait then y u not go for other Set then u post opinions dont post thats the business what Sonyericsson is doing if they will launch P990 first then who will bought M600 thats a part of business but in the other end thats not with The Sonyericsson Fans its too late SonyEricsson is not thinking what theire Fans r thinking they only means to theire business so continue i m also going for N91 Good bye SonyEricsson

Yap, agree with the rest and just gotten Nokia N80. I feel happier now instead of pondering over the SE P990. Sony thanks for the WAIT. Please continue to do your R&D till 2050 and ensure the P990 is super stable. Or else, you are kicking your own Sess.

ok guys tired of the wait. have waited and waited for this phone as i am a die hard jog wheel fan and have been since my Z5. had a Z7 P800, P900 and currently the P910i but this is far beyond a joke now......sorry SE new tech awaits
