my keyss crackedd!
&& ive only had this phone for like 3 months
and now 2 of my buttons fell off.
but i love sony ericsson phoness =)

hi i have an s500i, when i send text msgs, i can't see the words.. before the background for the text msges were black, but now it's white and the words are white and i can't see what i've typed is there something i can do?

I read that the yellow edition is free of defects. I'll buy it =).

this phone is a piece of junk, keys gets cracked, and i dropped my phone once and the phone split into pieces, so i had to place the pieces back together. (the case broke off, the screen came off, the buttons, 3 pieces from the back) ... i would not recomend buying this phone.. it's not worth it.

I really liked the phone primarily bec of the way it looks and it feels in my hands. Considering quality issues of course is a given but i'm fed up with SE. trying to have it replaced takes months! theyd say it would take just a week but my warranty is almost expired for heaven's sake! I'm already considering replacing them myself, and probably modding the phone's keypads. just don't know where to get the parts... =)

ive had phone a few months, yeah looks awesome but keypad is all cracked, looks bad and now screen is black. but sony ericsson says 3 weeks to fix and i pay shipping and no loaner...wtf? cool looking phone but DEFINATLY NOT WORTH IT!!!

I really think that this phone would be perfect if it weren't for all of these quality issues. I took a chance and ordered one anyways with a one year warranty in case any problems come up which I'm pretty sure will. GSMArena, I think you guys should really contact Sony Ericsson and get these problems fixed because if they told you they already were fixed then that's just BS. It would be for their benefit as well since almost every website now has numerous warning signs deterring hopeful buyers away.

yes..indeed da keypad cracks...but the phone is still of good quality...i love my phone!

hey ..this phone is agr8 one..like it soo much..at least it has agd lookin...and it goes with anyone...gd options and everything is nice and new..so i advice u to buy it and its not that expensive..but its seems...thx!!

well, i bought this phone 5 months ago..it's sure looks very nice, cool and fancy...but like the others says..the keypad just cracks like that..and recently...the screen is getting darker and darker...some days i can see something but some other days i just see black...so if u really want a good cellphone dunt buy this one..

its has some nice deisgn features but yes the keypad does crack and no it is not because people do not look after their phones it is just beacuse it is a cheap phone...looks good but doesn't fare so well when being used

k, this phone only looks good but its not the best quality...so i dont think its worth the money. the buttons are wobbly like it's going to fall off and the lighting on the buttons are uneven.

wel im thinking of buying this fonee.. and here i hv sum ppl say da key pads crack.. and den i hv others say nah its ok and so on..
i think those hu hv crakced der key pads.. r not looking after and taking care of the properly.. lts jst ask somehing how many tyms hv used droped it?? HOW Hard do u press on the keyss??

OK OK i said to buy it wen i first got the phone...DON'T BUY IT IT LOOKS GREAT [thats what i thought too] but its so crappy and normal mode for camera u cant zoom and no flash..the keypad cracks just like that.. u notice it like after its soooo bad i had to get mine sent back to the company to see if they could fix it..looks are deceiving ppls

the design in my opinion are the only thing that is great about this phone.
the buttons crack.
and this model isnt supported by the media mall.
