I've hesitated rather or not to get this phone for a long time. But after using it for 3 months, there is NO problems with the keypad. As long as you are careful with it, this phone is lovely! I'm also a heavy texter and so far the phone haven't disappoint me.

very disappoint on the s500 and sony ericsson. i got software and keypad problem then send to service centre for repair on 1st november,but until now still dunno when cai i collect my handphone,they said not have the part for repair,i only can wait...

really u guys all of u are dumb this phone is teh shit i love ths phone i have no sim problem or keys breaking ever. and i think that this phone is great for its price. you guys dont deserve a phone like this

i got my s500 a couple months ago and my vibrator stopped working. it wont vibrate when someone calls and it doesnt vibrate when browsing through the phone either. someone help me!!

Actually, most girls buy it! im a salesgirl in a huge store in norway, and are selling phones every day. this is a very feminin phone, and has a lot of girlish themes and backgrounds..and dont forget get about the lighteffects! i think this one screams GIRL!its slim, and nice colours and specs!:) i love this phone, i have it my self..and i also have the w580i..:) go for it:)

i really like it but im not sure if its a girls phone?
it looks like a boys phone but quite a few of the themes look a bit girlish??
im not sure what to do, i prefer this phone to the walkman one but if its a girls phone ill get the walkman one

hi peoples i can say that forget about kpads just seee how perfect it is got very very very nice colour mixing black and green aboutd how slim it is over all its great and its also got nice colours only 1 thing it have no fm other wise its super good loking as cybershots me also have w580 both of them preety same overall s500 and w580 or w880 just perfect they are

To EVERYONE!!!
the keys on the first delivery of the s500i was bad...now they are alright!!! ive got w580i and s500i... the first w580i cracked...but havent had any problems with the s500i! so you should go for it! its a great phone, and im realy loving it!! very nice colouers on it, and som real cool themes.

The keys crack an if not repaired for a while eventualy when u push cracked keys the sides stick up in air one of my keys that had split through centre eventualy fell out shoddily built phone ive gone back to w850 anybody want to buy my s500i its in draw

Hey do any of you get a reminder to update the software of the phone?? I recently received a reminder and every time i turn of my phone i get this message. The strange thing is when i follow the update procedure its telling me that there is no new update?? Is anyone experiencing this sort of problem please let me know and how i can solve it thanks!!!!

SE500 is very good,before you sad about this mechanical problem,you don't think about software which perfomance is very good.I have same phone like any of you and I think that phone is not for people who have redneck finger.

I forgot to add, if I leave the phone alone, it's ok. But if I keep playing with it, when I put it down for a little while, it will ask me to insert my sim.
