nahh if they crack its just what it sounds like... a crack appears in the middle or w/e of the key.. like straight down the key.... and its still useable.. but.... theres a crack.. lol

What do you mean by cracked keys , does the plasic crack in the middle or do the keys get stuck or fall out , and once it cracks are they unuseable

i wasted rm1.1k.im only using it for a week and the damn key pad cracked! i went back to the shop, they said sony ericsson doesnt cover housing problem. arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I've got my green S500i for about 2 weeks now, and already 4 keys are cracking, although it's been said that this problem was fix from the week 27, and my phone is from week 29. this is nothing, but SE doesn't seem to care and the service simply tells me that the phone is too new on the market so they don't have parts for it to change it and, basically, not to bother them anymore.. i can't believe it!

I've had this phone for about a few months now.. got it when it was released.. and my friend dropped it.. it didn't brake or anything a few scratches here and there but the phones working fine.. and the keys haven’t started to crack yet.. but I have a friend who got it a few weeks after me.. and their number 6 key has a crack in it

Stylish, compact and powerful phone. Too bad the keys are starting to crack. Had it for about a month. I can't keep buying a phone every month!

Has anyone bought the s500 and used it WITHOUT having the cracking keypad problem? Is it 100% that the keypads will crack at somtime? Or some people could be lucky enough to avoid it?

did you guys know Sony Ericsson is coming out with a white version of thing, but the side of the housing would be brown still sticking with the natural nature theme.

before week 27 have keypad problem? no true.. mine is week 30 but after 10 days of using, keypad cracked.. return to the dealers but SE doesn't have stock yet to replace.. poor thing..

i hope that gsmarena people send this comments to sonyericsson so that they can analyze what people are saying about their product, and to comment about this phone i hope sonyericsson people fix what problems are people are complaining about this phone and maybe they can upgrade this phone by adding 3G and FM, overall this phone is very sleek, elegant and nice design and concept.
