any laptop or LCD TV that is not HD ready will not be able to play HD videos... even video player... you need blue ray to play HD videos.... so if you have the latest laptops, LCD TV and blue ray then buy HD video camcorder or the OMNIA HD. and remember OMNIA has no TV output... it uses the DLNA technology for HD viewing on LCD TV... which of course only new LCD TV are capable....

IDOU...luks like one of d best phones as HTC Touch HD...this'll beat all d phones bcoz whn it'll come till time all phones will be old in dis catagory, i m also waiting for dis cellphone..

SE fans started to realize that SE strategy just do not work.
By the time of release Idou will be totally outdated.
It is also likely that this model like other will be released with bugs and faulty/hardware problems.
In best case, it will take months to get all updates and improved versions - 2010 June-July.
It looks bad when Se needs Sagem´s technology - HTC production lines etc.
I guess SE provides the slogans :

great amzing phone specs. I am not a iphone fan by anymeans but please fit a headphone socket. I will not get one unless it has one. If it does not it will be a ointless phone

regarding battery, the omnia HD will have a far better battery life...
why?
well the screen may be 0.2" bigger, but it is AMOLED. This means there is no backlight required which is the most power consuming feature on a screen.
the idou will obviously need one for it's tft screen.
and i reckon because samsung have made s60 phones before, they'll be more prepared, regarding the firmware this is, and it will be more energy efficient.
and of course, the battery is 1.5 times bigger...

Before SE Idou hit our shelves, it will be obsolete already. Palm Pre, iPhone 2009 and Omnia HD will be alredy out and making waves. If I were SE, I would just not realeas this model, becuase I bet this will be delayed and delayed and delayed... no point already :-(
SE will suffer the same fate as Motorola. SE design are old fashioned and no new innovation at all. Im so sad because I am an SE fan since 1999, but now for more than 2 years that I dont see new things from SE, I am so saddened. While Samsung and LG are stepping up with new design and innovation, SE keep on coming up with recycled design. Soon SE will be history in mobile phone world, they will be obsolete. Same as what happened to Alcatel and Siemens. :-(

about the post on reliability...
i definitely agree and have avoided SE since my k800 and gfs s500 died for no reason and hasn't been able to fix.(tried a lot of places)
i always guessed that their smartphones would be more reliable. i haven't tried their smartphones though but i have some hope for this one

Impressive features but its a Sony Ericsson and reliability will be a huge problem, case in point, the C905.
Unless SE can sort out the reliability issues prevelant on all their handsets they will continue to lose market share as they have over the last few years.
If this phone is fault free then just maybe SE won't be the new Motorola
