But I dont know hows the photo quality of the camera is of the SE t610 and if it has night option or not. Whats the memory of t610? What is meant by STN screen? Can u add applications in it as in nokia 7650"?

Oh yeah.. Having Bluetooth and IR doesn't mean it has the same capability as Sony Ericsson's BT and IR..
Again, with referrence to the Nokia 7250i, Samsung V200 and Sony Ericsson T610...
While the T610 has option to send midis, pictures, themes, your entire contacts, appointments and all via IR, the Samsung can't do those.. neither can the Nokias... Nokia can send 'business' card with one name... not sure about the V200..
what phone are you using 'haha?'

D700 is of a total different class already =).. It's not a phone but a smartphone.. I though you were referring to a normal Samsung phone.. as all normal Samsung phones does not have function to save words into T9 Dictionary and is very messy...
Your phone's capability of adding words into the dictionary is not because of Samsung's work, but just that they chose a right OS for their smartphone which is Symbian. You can't compare Symbian phones to normal phones. Totally different class. Like comparing the P800 to the 7250i or something.

Meaning you were going to all the trouble debating just because you don't like the slow bit?.. I can't compare to a Samsung menu in the messaging thingy as I don't have one now. Had used one but can't really remember how it looked like. Samsung could have a faster processor... but then we know that faster processor normally eats up more power... thus the reason why Samsung's battery last so short... but then at least Samsung provides 2 battery. What phone are you using Haha?
Nice if they menu could be faster... but then that means taking away the details and all.. Oh yeah, Haha?, try a friend's T610.. download the theme 'Traditional'. You can see that things gets slightly faster as it doesn't show too much images... but the idea of all the extra menus at the top and bottom is still there, so still slow at times..

I do not work for SE at all.
I'm just saying you can't compare processor speed without knowing that the processor really is. Howabout this 'Haha?'. Imagine there's two computers. You don't know what processors is in there. XP runs normally and pretty alrigth, but slows down at times when loading while another is on DOS which is really quick. What I'm trying to say is that the software complexity of the SE's OS is very complex..
I'm asumming you're comparing it to a Nokia right?
Let's take one example.. messaging...
What do you see on a Nokia screen?
A line across the top and right side, with the word 'message' and the character lefts at the top.
Let's see the T610's write message menu..
You'll see the standard status bar at the top (shows battery, gprs, reception and what ever you have on such as bluetooth, ir, handsfree, profile....)
You'll see a backgrund at the top menu.. also at the bottom menu where 'Continue' and 'More' is and again, a different background. Then the main screen, you'll write new WITH another background and there you'll see a message box over the backgrund with image and text box telling if your on caps or not and also T9 or not.
See the differences?

but not on 500 mhz comp
damn did i have to make this clear? DMX?
Sony Ericsson has slow processing, don't you get it? or can't you get it? huh?
Now i really assume you work for SE lol

To person below me. What are you comparing it to?
To person below the person below me.
R1L is out in Singapore. Send it to any authorized Sony Ericsson service center and you'll get it upgraded for free.
@Haha?
You are the one who doesn't get it. I try to make it clear and you say 'To hell' to my example to help you 'THINK'.
Windows XP, while it's better, prettier and can do more than DOS, it's also in a way slower. Slower to load things here and there. If you look at the T610's menu, it's more complex with all the images here and there and also has all the fancy polyphonic sounds.
If you are comparing the speed of the T610's OS to the speed of a Smart Phone, then you don't get it. Smart Phone is in a totally different category. To start of, Smart Phones has better processor. If you are saying Sony Ericsson is slow as a whole, the P800 is proven to be the fastest phone known so far with a processor of 152mhz or something.
To person below. No extended memory? Tell me, what 'phone' has extended memory? Don't name a 'Smart Phone'.
