Another check, £350 with no contract.
Personally I thing the T610 looks sleek. An aquired taste maybe, but small, compact and better than the generic Nokias and the subsequently large and unwieldly designs. The only forthcoming designs that look good is the SX1 and Neonodes N1.

I have seen the calculator last day which looks almost exactly the same as SE T610 but the display was smaller, and also it was cheaper.

I called a dealer up in England. Apparently it'll be released here around 19th May for somewhere between £125-£200 with contract. Couldn't be anymore specific than that until May...

Looking forward to it, I loved my CMD-Z7, pity they couldn't re-use the jog-dial. By the way, does anyone know how to open the Z7? I've undone the 2 screws but don't know what to do next...

Initial read of the feature list is impressive, knocks the socks off any mobile on the market. A must have. What is nokias answer to this???

Whoa...ugly...I have better looking remote controls than that. Why is it SE is making these ugly bricks nowadays? I have my T68i because it doesn't look like a rectangle like the other SE phones but this is a dissapointment. It doesn't even have a speakerphone...every Nokia is coming out with speakerphones these days. Thumbs down....way down.. SE has lost it.

This is a cool phone, but i wish it has more storage capacity, more database flexibility like in N9210i. Imagine additional features: MMC/SD slot, Radio, Thermometer, GPRS, CDMA+GSM, more database flexibility to add fields... but hey maybe next year sonyericsson...

weldone SonyEricsson! just as the T68i, its gonna be the leader in its class at least for a year!
about nokia: look at 6610 and 6220 or 7210 and 7250 they all have nearly the same firmware! they just put it in a new shell and make a couple of changes in the menu and call it a bloody new phone!
and you can obviously see what kind of people go for nokia! e.g: most of 7650 brick users dont even know what Bluetooth is or wot it does!
so, if you really think wise SonyEricsson have made a big effort and are truely making the best and most advanced phones
                            on the market!
                            Regards

I dont understand you people.2 months ago you were happy with your 725kb Nokias such as 6610,6100 or 7210.And now you say 2 MB????? to the T610.Even if the phone would have 100 MB storage, you guys wont be satisfied with it.If you7 want that,go and get a PDA phone combo!!!!Jesusss...this is a business/fashion phone not a smartphone!!!Get this to your mind before ever complaining about storage issues. In itys field,2MB is enough.Of course,it would be great if it was 10 MB instead of 2 anytime. However, even with 2mb you can do a lot of things with it.For the moment, this phone is the BEST in its class.Nokia 7250 can not match T610 by any means. It has lesser technology and somewhat offers the same price becoz its a nokia.Think wise before buying that phone.65000 colur vs. 4096..much more brighter and sharper screen..bluetooth..mophun game platform with more than 60 games..muc more easier to send MMS with Quick Share facility..much more easy to take pictures..with 2 clicks you take and save the picture to the phone..and you can easily send it to your e-mail with its unique user interface..compared with the features, its rather light and small..what more do you want mannnn..come onn...be fair and respect the honesty of these guys..no phone is perfect and will ever be!!So,hatss off for Sony Ericsson guys..

What's up with SONY buttons? There are far too small and difficult to depress. I hope they fix that, otherwise this thing will be diffcult to operate. (I'll echo the other poster, the Z1010 looks better, if for nothing else the buttons..)
