Question:
Played a song on my Vivaz last night. Didnt switch the phone off, but left it beside my bed. This morning when I tried to listen to music on my way to work I noticed that the music option in the media player is gone. Only photos and videos options are still there. I've checked the file manager and all the music files are still on my memory card.
So, has anyone else experienced this problem and how do I fix it? While a simple software upgrade do the trick?
Please help!?!

hello there
i just want to ask about his batt performance...
with about 3 hours per day on usage (call ans sms), how long the batt could last long....
another thing is his OS..is it same like Nokia OS??
I've used Satio before...i really like it
..the camera superb..but i can't withstand with his batt performance...really upset me...
could pls anybody advise me about this phone on his batt performance, OS, camera and sound quality...

My friend Gillian thank you for those words,I really appreciate those nice words for me,Im tryin to do my best even that Symbian World is bigger hahahha...
1.about your first question,No its not necessary to sign all apps or games,because some apps are already signed weither by the company who has launch it or by other persons,but some files as you said they need to be sign
2. abot second and third question I see they are connected....My friend I personally use this Symbian sis signer and its very good,you can find here and download it http://www.mobilesbuddy.com/mobile-software/nokia-s60v5-software/symbian-sis-signer-software/
But remember befor using sis signer you must have certificate and key for your phone,whithout those you cant sign sis files,If you have it good,and if you dont i will guide you how to get it.
3. and fourth question,the best way to find cool apps and games is google,you can find HD games for you phone,and check youtube its very useful

Dont be lazy to learns about how to handles a symbian s60v5 when u need your vivaz run as well. Your handset performance is depends your knowladge only.

Oh ya, reading the review again I found another question. It is regarding the threaded view messaging function. GSMARENA listed the threaded view function in the specification. What I want to know is how to use the function ? if it is the vivaz pro, there is the conversation option in messaging. But from the review image I don't see any conversation option in the messaging. Am I wrong or is there another method to use the function as said ? please help and thanks again =)

I was thinking about Basem's question that is the ability of the phone to lock files or certain media such as images or videos. Is there this possibility ? Fatos said that it can be done by downloading a lock file, so if it's true can I know where to download it ?
I would also like to know more about the difference between Symbian and other O.S like for example the Android. Some user here once told me the difference it's just the number of apps available to download. Is there anymore differences between Symbian and Android?
and also I would like to ask about the laggness you have stated before, is it only because of the RAM usage? and by exiting applications correctly and restarting the phone at times would solve the laggness problem?
I'm really grateful there are peoples like you and Fatos around. I thank you all again for being there to help you . thank you very very much =)

but if your gonna ask me whether antivirus is really necessary for your phone well my answer is no.
because there isnt a symbian existing virus so far.. and dont worry or hesitate to connect your phone to your computer because that's two different operating systems. computer virus cannot affect your symbian

yes there is really such, because symbian is an Os and it runs depends on its Ram.. if you just hide or minimize an application it still runs in the back ground and yes that consumes your Ram. so be sure to close/exit an app if you are not gonna use it anymore.
Ram is Random access memory so it resides in the phone system so i highly suggest to restart your phone atleast once in two weeks to restore it.
There are 3rd party applications which you can also use to clean your ram.
my phone is aging about 3 months now. so i searched well for a ram cleaner. i got Ramblow but havent tried it yet. i will let you know as soon as i get to use it...

then maybe you can just buy her a psp.
If you go for vivaz then not only you give her the chance for good mobile games and camera but auotomatically give her a chance to use the real potential of symbian..
having symbian os is a privilege. :)

Symbian is the most used and common OS now a days..
so most number of users means more complaints, dont wonder why android doesnt get as much of these complaints fellas.. do you get my point?
so most no. of users means more application creator, this is the reason why we have tons and tons of 3rd party applications.
that's the advantage of having a symbian OS. the interface in iphone? even the screen lock? now you can have it.
and remember people one can complain if he is already used to the OS, this means he is wanting more...in symbian world you can satisfy that need. with 3rd party applications...

there are a lot of people who uses symbian mobiles like vivaz do not really understand what symbian really is and what it really does.
so they get satisfied to what vivaz appeared to be.
So its a great thing that there a people like you who can explain and try to answer the queries being posted here. so thanks to you! it's really a big help..

second, red pepper is an online signing site a assume. is it a safe and easy to use one?
