Yes, the lack of bluetooth -.-
That, and the screen quality are the bad points... As for not having edge, I get a download speed of 15kilobytes/sec when I use this phone as a modem... Don't know how its possible, since I don't use download assistants... I (personally, because of this), don't really need a EDGE capable phone (my SGH-D600 produced the same results as well...)
The camera is what you would find on a K700, which is of average quality... It is just the screen that lets us down... I will save up some money (quickly :]) and get myself a K510 screen (TFT 256k) and load that onto the W200... They should work with each other...

Well 5ushi,no offence but i think u missed bluetooth n edge(wat w200 doesnt hv).u mentioned abt da cam n screen tho.nyways,i admire ur thoughts.

Yes, you are correct in saying that the Nokia is a better phone... It is just the way you said it, that seems to mock the fellow W200 users here that W200 is inferior compared to the Nokia 3110... The only differnce is camera and TFT LCD screen... And yes, the 3110 (Classic) is around about the same price as the W200... The way you say this makes us users think that we got ripped off~~ In actual fact, the SE W200 has a slightly better user interface (pretty easy to use and easy to understand) and the WALKMAN feature is more developed than the music player found in the 3110...

Also for Judy,
I suggest that if the battery problem is not resolved, then you should get your W200 flashed at a local phone store. This should fix-up any software problem (you cannot hear music on the phone itself). Try cleaning the metal contacts of the headphones and the phone with a (slightly) moist cloth, and try again. If the phone doesn't recognise the headphones (the little icon appears at the top), then I recommend getting the phone flashed...

I cannot see a previous question... I already answered this question...
You should first use the battery up completely (so that it turns off by itself) and charge the phone up for about 12 hours (no longer). You should do this a few times (around about half a dozen times) and the battery life should start to increase. From what I am hearing, it is also possible that you have a faulty battery. But I suggest that you try the method above, and if the problem is not resolved, you should get the battery replaced...

I forgot 2 add-it has 1.3 mp cam which works as good as digi cam in outdoor(not dat gud in indoor).nevertheless,no other phone offers dat much in dis price range.

Guys check out n 3110c.it has everythin dat u need-edge,bluetooth v2.0 wid A2DP,mp3,mp4,2gb mem support,cool design, great battery life,256k colour n da price is less dan w200.bsides its nokia.u can always depend on nokia.

Why you are not answering my questions?My phone is only lasting for 2 hours without doing anything on the phone.1 hour if I use the phone.And i cant here music on the phone itself,I have to use the headphones.

I would personally choose the W300 over the W200 because of the flip design (it will last longer in the right hands...) In addition, W300 has Bluetooth and 1.3 MEGAPIXEL camera, plus a TFT LCD screen, so is superior compared to the W200...
I too get the FAILED message while trying to play music (sometimes). SE phones are like Windows platform; if you leave them on for too long they get laggy and unresponsive - thus you have to restart them. This is likewise with the W200 (and most SE phones). You should restart the phone whenever you start experiencing inexpected actions... (This is mentioned in the instructins)
As for choosing between E250 and W200, that depends on what your requirements are... If you use your phone for mainly music, obviously go for the W200. If you depend on the camera and good quality images (good screen) go for the E250...

if u want to pay for W300 u can check out nokia 3110.
W300 is very good phone but bluetooth hs no A2DP.so if u don't want bluetooth u may go 4 w200.and i like w200 style better than w300.but if u like flip phones go 4 w300.

What is that "FAILED" messege when trying to play some music???
last time it occured when i tried to play a music then booom a harsh noise which i wonder how can i hear any more after that!

A very nice phone for its price...by the way in my country(indonesia) this phone even beat Nokia 5300xpressmusic in chart, W200 no.1 and 5300 is no.3...
