Is it for sure that this phone has EDGE. I went to sonyericsson website, but i found ambiguous info thr. Under the heading- "Networks", EDGE is mentioned. But in under "connectivity", Only GPRS is mentioned.No "EDGE" is menioned at the place where it ought to be. Wat can be the prob?? I m totally confused.

For anyone wondering about songs/memory amounts here's an easy way to tell:
at 128kbit/s MP3 compression you're getting roughly 1min/MB, therefore at 256MB you're getting about 4.25 hours of music.
128kbit/s compression has been the most common compression for a long time although 160kbit/s and 192kbit/s is also become more and more popular. If you want great music quality out of an MP3 playing such as this phone go for 256kbit/s compression, although this way you're only getting barely over 2 hours worth of music.
On my old MP3 player I used to listen to songs at around 96kbit/s. If you want to know exactly how much time the phone can hold under ideal circumstances use this formula:
*(MB) = memory on the phone
*(kbit/s) = compression of MP3 file
(MB)/(kbit/s)*8*1024/60 = minutes of music
note: this is going from left to right, all brackets were eliminated
using this phone (256MB) at normal compression (128kbit/s) we get:
256/128*8*1024/60 = 273 minutes

Nicks, you can put music onto the phone without using the pc software. If you have Windows later than windows 98, if you plug the phone in using a USB cable (and have the memory stick inserted), it is recognised as a removable disk and you can drag music files into it. This is a lot quicker than using the supplied software. You can also use a bluetooth adaptor on your PC and transfer files by bluetooth.

Why couldnt they have put a better quality camera with a flash on this phone? Its a really nice looking phone with all the other extras on it, but the poor quality camera with a lack of flash really lets it down.

I LOVE this phone! Another well priced walkman phone, and the white colour really does bring out the colour of my tan!!

it seems only sony ericsson won't follow motorolas design of placing the antenna below the phone which nokia and especially both lg and samsung are doing with their phone and instead have been coming out with loop antenna. talk about pride though i wonder how long before they copied such design. their loop antenna is making the phone a little bulky.

Thanks, I already know about VGA Cam can be imporlated to 1.3Mp (I think that will not be good..., but I'ts all OK, VGA Cam for me it's what I need)

Great phone, havn't had any trouble yet... Only thing is its particularly hard getting used to the buttons compared to most phones. You need miniature fingers, good aim and a steady arm. ha.

wat the hell s SONY thinkn ? ? ? trying to cheat ppls ? ? W810 is same of k750i only the panel and theme is changed eventhis phone is similar to Z530 i ? ? both same model design only panel and theme !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! shtttttttt bt cost differs frm 2k to 5k

Its as nice phone. Yes there is a walkman and on the plus side there is a card slot so you can expand your mp3 memory as much as you need but on the other hand the camera quality is poor.
