i got this phone the other day it is the best phone i have got in sony erricosno the camera shown is only a vga but does actually look like a 1.3mp and the memory size is good 2 i get a foc memory card witht he handset so memory good standby time good best phone

why never talk about the sound in a call?... that's important, is it high or not? and about the perfomance of the speakerphone ina call too,, is never the same like playing music?,, well i would like to know about that, thnx!

I need to buy a new Sony Ericsson Fone...
but i am having a little trouble choosing which one... i like the w300i, but the camera is not so good, and i am also curious about the sound quality on this thing... the other is the SE W810i, but i don't like the body of the cellphone and the buttons... w700 is to basic looking, but i am going to buy one of these, or should i go for k800 cell phone... anyone owning these cellphone please let me know of their cons and pros... and i love the flip calmshell shape phones which one is the best...???

expanding from vga to 1.3mp means that, to change the resoloution settings in the phone to the highest resoloution which is 1.3mp!!
anyway changing the resoloution wont make any difference as you are interpolating the picture resulting in an grainy picture,take this into consideration when buying a phone of megapixel qulity cam,,.

thios means u can expand your camera from a vga to a 1.3mp camera

Everything is fine. But too bad they have just NINE speed dials? n also my screen kinda hangs in all white when after transfering files from the net. does anyone know why?

Hey Jony where have you seen the 2GB micro stick? The biggest I have seen is the 1GB on Mobileplanet for like $70 or so. Anybody knows hit me up on my E-mail!

I've had this phone for almost a month now and it's awesome!!! I've had nokia's... Sucked! I have friends who have Motorola's and they have a lot of problems with batteries and with downloading stuff. But with the Sony W300i everything is soo easy to do it has awesome sound! You can also create your own themes! So I highly recommend this phone!!!!

Hey manpreet, to answer your question. This mobile uses a brand new Sony's flash memory named Memory Stick Micro M2, different than the well known Memories from Sony, this is smaller (yeah it is!). The W300 can use just this kind of memory, so kindly, one with 256MB is included in the box. The maximum capacity in the official site says that is 512MB, I have read in other sites that is up to 2GB. I cannot assure you a real value. Hope this helps. See ya...
