Hi all!
To aman, you can transfer anything to the phone via the USB cable. When you connect the USB cable to the PC, it gets detected as a removable drive. You can then simply copy-paste audio, video and image files to and from the PC to the phone. For installing games, applications, etc., simply install the provided PC Suite. As for the sound, just one word - 'awesome'! Simply plug in the earphones and lose yourself! Of course, the on-board sound quality is also the best among all phones available in the market. W800i costs about Rs. 22,000 and this one costs about Rs. 7,000 - you think both are almost equally priced!
I agree with you on the first point, Sean but that is most probably because you do not do the white balance settings according to the light conditions. There are five options - Auto, Cloudy, Daylight, Incandescent and Fluorescent. Neer select 'Auto'. Select 'Cloudy' during night outdoors, 'Daylight' during day indoors, 'Incandescent' when under bulb light and 'Fluorescent' when under tube light. But the camera surely sucks when you use it outdoors at night. As for the second problem, it might be due to some defect in your handset. Get it checked. I never encountered this problem even though I use Bluetooth extensively. The phone is lightning fast at all times and has never yet shown any symptoms of hanging.

I just got SE W550i from Starhub at $88 after using $200 voucher by them. Heh heh. Any way, after playing it for a while, i feel a bit disappointed with this phone.
1. I feel the cam quality a bit bad. Pictures taken a bit grainy although it is 1.3MP.
2. When I turn on or off bluetooth, quite slow and most of the times it hang! I think my set got problem. Maybe test for another day and if got problem, I go one to one exchange.
Ok besides these 2 complains, so far I quite happy with it. Screen resolution very good. MP3 play liao quite clear and loud. Many nice functions like can use it as music player without turning on the phone services. Can connect multi bluetooth devices at the same time. Stylish looking. Fits nicely in palm etc.....

this 1 is a wonderful phone, but not a cheap 1; almost as expensive as w800, 'cos it's pretty new; and pls, ppl, before asking which one, w900 or w550 is better think a little: w900 is newer, twice as expensive, ham memory stick, 2 mp camera, autofocus, and u don't have 2 be a genius to realise that a phone which ends with 900 is a better than a 550 phone (see k300-k500-k700-k750)

Hi all!
I have this phone and have been using it for o a whole month. Absoultely superb phone! There is no better phone in the market even if you are willing to pay more than this one's cost. Some people will argue that the W800 is but only if you want a 2 MP camera with auto focus. The camera in this one is also very good though.
And the lack of memory card does not make any difference at all. You can store 500 songs if encoded at 16 bitrates which is a child's play using encoding software such as dbPowerAMP!
The on board sound quality is better than that of the W800. To know more about this phone, read the W800's review and then read this one's because all features that were there in that phone are there in this one too and a few useful new ones too.

In a few words, this is THE BEST phone out there (and it does not even cost a lot). Go get it! ;)

OMG...can someone tell me whats wrong with my phone?? the keypad went crazy jus after 2-3days i bought it..the no.3 key kept activating the walkman once i pressed it..then no.1 will exit the messagin..and no.4 will cause alot of other keys to be pres[all automatically]...wat should i do?? help!!! it happened 3 times..when i wanted to bring it to the service center the problem is gone..can someone pls help me?? btw i have already upgraded the software version on the 3rd day of purchasing this phone..

well.....in my opinion this fone looks better, because of the slide round thing, it also has no joystick, they joystick on my previous sony ericsson wouldn't work and i couldnt scroll down. they r both great phones so it is up to you :)
