can anyone here tried downloading and playing a file with an extension of .swf? coz i believe that this phone has a macromedia flash lite, isnt it?

again if you want a n mp3 player of as much as 220 songs(32kbps) to be stored, w550i is a god choice. thru headset, with the help of its equalizer and stereo widening feature, all my songs(32kbps) sound great... accessories included in the package are usb cable, stereo headset, 1 white face plate and the PC suite

Hey guys really wanna buy w550. but am a bit confused between this one and the Moto razr V3i. can someone please tell me whether u get a white face plate with the box when u buy it?
also is there any chance that sony people will come up with an upgrade with memory card slot in it??

had a n one compared the W550's speaker sound with the motorola RAZR/E398? can u tell me which one is better? cause E398 has the best speaker i know. cheers...

I love the W550i! Have always loved Sony Ericssons! I use it with my Apple Shuffle headphones and I'm really impressed.
It would always be nice to put more songs on it, but I can live with the limit. I love the 1000 contacts space and the orange sealed the sell for me. And you don't even need your phone charger, the USB cable connected to a laptop charges the phone battery!
I also run MSN messenger on it and it looks fab! You guys might find this uesful too www.mig33.com. SE W550 is really good.

i did save 220 songs at 32kbps(16khz), and all played well and sounded well thru headset, thanks for the equalizer and steroe widening feature of the walkman player

in order to save more songs, compressing mp3 into a lower bitrate is good and as long as you will gonna use the headset, sound quality will still be ok...

I`ve used and examine the w550 sound quality is a bit better than w800, and for w900 dunno coz I`ve never tested it

to rex: the best is said to be w900..but i think its the most fragile one..w550 is the most value for money..w800 is kinda common now..

personally i think the cest is always 128, but 64 is the minimun...96 is just nice..
to save space i'll recommend 64..but if its music like instrumental..i usually choose 128

to Ankit,
if the file you tried to transfer from a nokia phone is in .wav format, most probably the reason why your w550i cant play it is that its frequency if higher than 16kHz, try to edit or compressed that wav file into a lower frequency to make it play with your w550i
