I have just got W-550.Its too good n desrving too have it excelent looks and cool functiions.Voice quality is at its best in this range.

be cool peoples..if u feel worth to have this phone just go for it..if u dun feel satisfied with this phone, please dun only look at the negative side only..lot of peoples already said this is the best phone ever(within its range of price compare to others)..dun let other people feel down..

Hi all,
who says 256MB is not enough? I think that is decent and adequate. I am telling u why........right this moment I have 28 still camera snaps, 98 general pics, 48 MP3s (apart from preoladed MP3s, and also on e.wav file, so W550i supports .wav and no conflict about that), 38 themes (including default), 17 games (including default 3), 20 video clips(including default 2), and 5 applications (including default 2. still 31MB is free on my fone....isn't it enough regarding a decent storage capacity?....if anyone is that storage-hungry, then please go for Nokia N91, this fone is not for u.
and for those who are talking abot selling the fone, please first learn to take proper care of your fone, otherwise even a candy-bar shape fone will be dead into your hand. don't think that u r palying football, u r just handling a fone which is a very soficticated equipment...ok?

really don't have any light at game a and b button?? y in demo tour it show that it have light and it is GREEN!..

well what was their or your software version ? if it was the old one then they should of upgraded it via gprs - its really simple ! and also did they use the disk2phone software ! how many times do we have to say this AVOID THAT SOFTWARE !!!! its got a virus in it which will **** up ur phone !
And as for you people coming on to this site and dissing the phone and telling people to sell it - you have either not looked after your phone and dropped it constently or kept opening it rapidly or your just jealous that maybe you cant get this phone so your making other people sell theirs ! well i'll tell u something i havent brought this phone yet and even though i have read your opinions - it hasent even changed my mind the slightest because i know that im goin 2 look after my phone and when it decides to die then its dead and ill search for another phone ! for goodness sake people its just a cell its not like the whole world depends on it!!!! people buy phones and a year after or so they either get bored of it , find a better phone or it dies im telling all of you that this is more hassle than its worth !!!
yes its a nice phone and im going to buy it but when it crashes ( hopefully not straight away ) im going to be upset if course but im not going to stress over it !

Brian, i agree with you. NOw i am currently own both a w800i and w810i after selling my w550i at the price of 160 sin dollars and it such a heartache. Buying it such a heavy price and selling it such a cheap rate. SO either buy a bar phone or flip-flap phone but never ever but a swivel phone. my sister is now learning the hard way with her nokia swivel phone 7370. so all users of w550i sell it before is too late.

my friend have this phone for about 4 months but he told me is a nightmare because the swivel it has becomes more lose. I told him he definitely sms to much then he said he only sms an average of 5-10 and other than that he never swivel open his phone. NOw the phone is so lose that is becomes hard to type messages on the phone as the keypad hardly connect with the phone and have to continuously press a particular letter in order to let the word appears.Now he trying to sell it away and having a hard time.so if you have one which is not in such a situation as my friend, hurry sell it away before is becomes worthless.

the best till now,it has got all in it. and i'm the first one to buy this model in my frns circle, everyone focuses on me, and i feel proud that i got a good one. it has got evrything. i am happy with the product and i am regular cust for sony ericsson. "thanks se"

I have not used and also do not have any experience regarding the other Walkman fones of SE but I can assure u that if u can afford easily, then just buy this fone without any hesitation. SE W800i though has 512MB Memory (and an external memory slot)and a 2MP camera, but it costs much more than W550i. ALso the former is a Candy-Bar fone whereas the later has a Swievel design and more eye-catching. And apart from these two features, other features are almost same.So, I will say 'go for W550i'.ALso W500i has three speakers (2 for walkman, radio, ringtone, video sound etc and the other one is for call purpose) but W800i doesn't. Almost everything is OK with W550i apart from some minor issues (I wrote in the previous posts regarding the shortcomings).So, why not W550i?.....It is a 'mobile-geeks' heaven ....
