some one please tell me how to watch and shoot video in fullscreen? Every where its written that it has fullscreen video capture and play back. But in my cell i can see the video in a small screen even in the horizontal mode selected. Some one please tell me what to do...

Hello!
To all whose songs get deleted when they transfer them to the phone via USB conection and restart the phone, use this tip:
When you connect the phone via USB to the PC, make a new folder in the main directory (not in the 'audio' folder). Name it 'MP3' or anything else. Paste all your songs here. Safely remove your phone. Switch it on. Now go to 'File Manager >> Sounds >> More >> Mark >> Mark All >> More >> Manage Files >> Move' and paste it in the 'Sounds' folder again.
Done! :)

i always thinking and searching....where is the mic????
i want to upgrade my firmware to the latest version...but i'm scare becoz SE told me that my file will be deleted!
i already take about 400 pict,plus k700 pict(about 300 pict) and 10 mp3 songs......i won't sacrifice my file!
i'm so sad!

@VIPER the problem that u are facing of the shortcuts will be fine in some time.
a frend of mine has purchased the phone n has the latest software. she used to face this problem but after some time its working just fine

For the new firmware, I didn't face any "missing" or "deleted" item by the phone when restart.
Because this phone is using its own internal memory space to store both system and user (that we uploaded ourselves) files, therefore, I would suggest if upload files, use the "Phone Mode" rather than connect the phone as a usb storage device, which after you finish transfering the file, you won't need to restart the phone.
If you do connect the phone as usb storage device, please please, remember to "safely remove the usb storage device" first from your pc, only then disconnect your phone from the usb cable, or else you might end up causing files "deleted" from your phone.
One thing, I notice still in the new firmware is that the shortcut assignment. Even I have assigned "Settings" to the left key and "Wallpaper" to the right key. But if I restart my phone, the shortcut key will reset back to its original shortcut assignment, which is "Write New" to the left key and nothing being assigned to the right key. Anyone else is facing this??

i too have upgraded firmware to R4BAO41 . i did it from the phone itself via gprs. thats so cool:) . it just took me bout 30 seconds and i need not run to se service center anymore. by the way i still feel there are a few bugs that are unfixed .some of my mp3 files and some themes vanish out of my phone during restart. . this is a bit annoying. anybody facin this prob. but still i love this phone

Inside the w550i box, you will find only 1 (ONE) headset unit, with 3 (THREE) rubber earpieces in 3 different diametres, that is, small, medium and large.
By the way, why did you mention that you're using Nokia 6630? Is there any relationship between the Sony Ericsson w550i headset and the Nokia 6630? :p

Just got my latest firmware from the SE Service Center. It is now:
R4BA041
So far has solved all my minor bugs and seem like working fine now. Is anyone else having this version and increase the original performance compare with the older firware?
For anyone would like to convert mpeg or wmv or avi file to mp4 video, you can try mpegable X4 Live from http://www.mpegable.com/. Quite easy to use and you are able to find its crack from the net too.

Hi all..Where could i download a gud .3gp converter? I have tried convertin videos using ImToo video converter but wheneva i convert it, its askin for a software registration no. & etc. So, if i ignore those msgz, Im only able to convert 1-2mins of videos only. This is rili annoyin.
So, do u guyz out there have de full version of this software or pls recommend ne other gud converter so tat i can save & play all my fav. videos in full. Besides, I have read from those forums tat we can save this phone memory by convertin all mp3 songs to mp4 format & de quality is de same as mp3. Izit true? If yes, pls lemme noe. THX ALOT in advance!!

hey all i wanted to know how can we play .aac files when we recieve it thru blutooth,it gets saved in others.
Besides if the screen of K750 n w550 is the same then why is clarity not up to the mark of w550

the explanation is pretty simple. the connector also serves as a mic and thereby you can use the headphones to answer calls too. if there was a standard jack on phone instead then where ll you have the mic. :)

hmmm...don't worry!this is how you can view your video on full screen mode!
you MUST use Walkman function to view fullscreen video......
i teach you.....
open menu-->highlight WALKMAN-->highlight VIDEO-->press open-->choose your video-->click play-->click more-->select FULLSCREEN
and.....MAGIC!

note:but!this function only works on the selected video,for the next video,it will be view in normal screen!
