i hav purchased this phone in november since then i hav submited this phone to service centre 2 times bcoz its screen goes blank(white) can any body tell me reason 4 this problem

HI! PLS HELP!! Is it possible to set a password so when the internet button is pressed accidentally it will not go on line and consume all your cellphone minutes..that keeps happening to me.. UR HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED..tnx !

aayush,
when its on stand by and i press the right arrow, it will go back to the screen where it looks like its locked, no light but the wallpaper is there. and i dont have update service on my settings. maybe coz mine is w600. i dont know. oh well, my phone is doing great anyway. thanks.

Just navigate to 'Settings >> Update Service >> Software Version' to know the software version. Furthermore, you can press the following sequence during standby on any Sony Ericsson phone to know specific details about the product and test its hardware components:

yo beth...of coz u can msg with normal words :P...and its VERY easy to use the phone...you dont need the manual to learn how to use it :P...so..dont't worry... ;) ...have fun with ur new phone ^.^

hi, i have already made my mind up and i am going to purchase this phone however i do have a few quetions which i hope someone can asnswer. firstly i have read in reviews that this phone i s easy to use but when they talk about it it seems quite complicated can someone reasure me please. Also do u have to text using the dictionary can u text normally hope u can answer my quetions and if u have any tips please tell me

there's only one place where we can press right and left, the navigational keypad, the up right down left and the center button, i dont know where else if there is somewhere else. anyways, my phone is working okay, i just wanna see the firmware, if i cant find it, its cool, im okay. thanks anyway man

Hello Pete!
You first have to change the language of the phone from 'Standard abc' to 'English'. Press and hold '#' while typing a message to do so. Then, press and hold '*' to activate the 'T9 Dictionary'. Simple as that!

I am deffinat ley going to buy his phone i fell in love with it the moment i saw it on my computer. i think that this phone is just perfect if your like me in fact if you are just normal and you dont want ti to take over your own ipod or mp3. All i have to say about this phone before i drag on is that it is pure quallity..pure quality!!

Hi there everyone,
For some reason I can't get Predictive Text (T9) to start working. Yes, I'm in a text and pressing and holding the * key.
Any ideas?

You sure or not? :p I did double check and I able to get to the place where I can check the firmware lor.
The 'Right' and 'Left' is actually refering to the center button of clicking left and right, don't confuse ya?

i don't know why SONY ERICSSON IMAGE EDITOR cannot detect my phone countinuesly(using bluetooth).....sometimes it's connected and sometimes it disconnected,and connected again,and disconnected and so on!

but viper, pressing right left left left will be the short cuts, wont it?and yeah, i just tried it. it had my bluetooth on. lol.
oh guys, i cant record the phone conversations, but it shows the record and makes the sound, but when i check, its not playing anything.
