i bought this phone, and it included a 1GB memory card.. thats the Memorycard size you get when u buy this phone in my country...

I think its a really good phone however there are only two problems I have with it and i only have it for 3 months. First of all the phone consantly switches off and back on by itself. Secondly the buttons cracked within the second month. So it does need some work

colors on w580 lcd is very natural I THINK IT HAS OVER 16,000,000 color
suport hidden ,flash on walpaper ,...

I have this phone (the W580i model) ....and ummm i LOVE the looks...but i had it sent for repairs (3 times) for a sound quality distortion ...2nd time they fixed it, 1 month later the distortion came back....3rd time for repair i got a "refubished unit"...1 week later this irritating high pitched (feedback/interference sound) was present ......soo now its at repairs for the 4th time.....

just curious. are there any other memory cards larger then 512MB that is supported by the phone on sale? 512MB is not that much..

Ibought the phone at cingular and added it on for 50 $ and its great alot of features.you will need a m2 micro card,and theres alot of other accesories for it

Hi
I purchaesd thes phone on oct 2008. everything was good but now this phone is in service centre from last 10 days because of speaker problem. I was facing a lot problem while talking to others with this phone. and i am also facing the cracking of key pad.

This phone is a great handset. Their were a few initial faults with the earlier model which was the grey/blue version. They have been ironed out now with the introduction of the black/orange version. I have one of these phones as my work phone and I feel it is a well made phone. I have heard reports of people having issues with the phone but to be honest with you, if you treat your phone like rubbish that is how it usually behaves. Phones are not meant to be thrown around or dropped ( and people do drop em, all the time), they are like mini computers these days not like the NOKIA 3310's of years gone by. Treat your phone with care and you will get many years out of it.

I can't imagine all the problems people are having with their w580. I purchased mine last Aug 07 and I am always amazed by not only the way the phone looks but its features, walkman SUPER great, camera WAY above other camera phones in this range, though I cant use its internet features, I've heard its fantastic.
I feel bad that people are experiencing problems but this is the best phone i have ever owned, and until the c702 comes out and the price drops after a while, this w580 will be by my side, even if i ever get a new phone......

hi everybody. i bought this phone after waiting for about 3 months. this phone worked very well for some months but after that it gave a lot of problems. its camera stopped working. after some days it didnot receive and sent messages. nowadays it hangs a lott. just need to repair it .

this good looking phone (but a very useless phone) cost about $300 CDN. so does that help you at all? i wouldnt recommend in buying this phone, so many problems like the software and the keypad. and im currently using this phone for about 4 months now. if u wait a lil longer there are gonna be even better phones like the C702, G700 something like that.

hi i brought this phone sony Ericsson W580i not longer ago as well...i'm not say that sony Ericsson mobile phone are bad or anything but this phone really sucksss...
this phone really does broke a lot someone from Sony Ericsson needs to fix there product a bit better the next time.
