plz tell me hows the sounds of this phone through speakers and headphones ... & i heard that many people say its key pad buttons gets cracked easily is this becuz the phone key pad is too bad or becuz some users actually press the keys harder than those keys can handle ... and i also heard that battery life is only 1 to 2 days under normal use & with listening to music i heard that u have to charge it every day ... is this phone bad as people say it is please do reply to these questions as its hard to find those by just going into a s.e. phone shop and by looking at the phone for a few min's cuz we aint gonna be there the whole day ... please do tell me the truth thankyou if someone can help me i appreciate it ... please try to give full answers to my questions ... thankyou ...

My w580 bettery last for 4-5 days, which just likes my previous w600.

key pad cracked?? hell no! exessive use (been 5 months)and it still smooth sailing! yea SE! luv it luv it luv it!

I brought it two dayzz agooo.....
Well i heard that keypads are of poor quality, but what i feel if u handle it with care it will work. I feel it is a masterpiece in Sony's Arsenal....Better take a gudd care of ur phone first not complain !!
Its Design is Awesome , Sounds Rocks , Camera a bit Ok ....Light weight not bulky like Nokia sets .....So if u love sleek and light weight then u need to take better care of it from first day u brought it.

I bought this phone the day before and so far I have not much complains! I got the Pink one which is apparently a limited edition. The phone is extremely easy to use (like most Sony), very powerful, fast and the sound is great. The only complain I do have is that the phone has very short battery life. I think it barely has 4hrs talk time (and I talk on the phone a lot!!) hence because of that I have to buy a desk charger and car charger extra :).

better think twice before getting this phone. it has poor build quality and made up of cheap, breakable plastic. what a rip off for the price.

Loved it, until 2 months in all of my keys cracked and my memory card no longer works....was very disappointed because i love all of the other features it offers

I have the w580i... I read the forums about the keys cracking and sure enough mine did as well... But i called sony ericsson and they said that it would be fixed no problem and the keys would be made out of a different material so it wouldn't happen again... They were really helpful and answered all my questions... I was an LG fan before this phone and im sold on SE from now on.

ryt guys i just want ta tell u the sony ericsson w990i is stunnin i saw pics and videos of it if u want ta see it type in www.sonyericssonnewmake.co.nr or you can if you have msn type in tam-o-no#1@hotmail.co.uk becase you to type in a password and it will take money of u u chose
but trust me when u see it u want it it comming out in febuary it black and white and
it just like the w910 catch ;)

How come this phone is so much cheaper than the w910??
the specification is the same
they are the same phone they just look different
also from a non biased person is this good as a general phone??
ok camera, not slow, doesn't have bad faults etc......

hey anyone who r lokin forward to buy this phone also consider NOKIA 5610 music express or wait for SAMSUNGS new F250. i think walkman phones have some tough competition ahead.

I ignored what everyone said about the keys cracking and the battery not lasting more than one day and went out to buy this phone. I really love it and it's awesome but unfotunately i've had the same problems. three of my keys are starting to crack and my battery dies by the end of the school day after charging it for the whole night. i'm not really sure why, i listen to the walkman during my lunch break and than i stop it before class, but is there a way to actually shut it off instead of stopping the play? cuz i think thats the reason why my batter dies so quick.

i know that i can read swf files i have tried with my w580 but i can't hear the sound and not all files i wanna read work i wanna know if i have to convert them to a swf specific version were i can watch them and of course hear them because i can't thx.

Hello.
I've got this phone...i has really many functions and it's one of the best phones if only...
the battery would last more than a day
and my dial number 7 got broken two times...my phone was being repaired more than 35 days and yet 2 days after I got it back the same mistake happened. So I really not recommend the phone... really toooooo bad because otherwise it's a very practical phone with loud speakers, upgraded music player ... I wouldn't return it back for nothing but as I said battery and dials are of very low quality.
