I am thinking about getting this phone for christmas, and I just have a few questions for anyone who owns it.
. Is the operating system really slow?
. How is the camera?
. Is the walkman player good?
. Are the memory cards really expensive?

i am using n73 and i decided to change to w580 ... for me , camera is useless ...the greatest camera wit higest mgpx , digital camera will be "won" ... u wan a good quality picture ? digital camera is ur best choice ...

one of the problem is ur memory card ... Actually M2 is not a good memory card as well ~ lot of problem on this memory card ...

i've had the phone for about a month,and the keypads have not cracked (yet!)....i've managed to make the battery last longer by reducing the brightness to 50%....lately i've had a problem with the memory card...sometimes the phone doesnt register the memory card, so i can't play song or games....so i have to reboot again.....i have know idea why it's happening......and it's just so annoying to reboot the phone...does anybody have the same problem and know why it's happening?......thx.......

I have the phone for a week,and it's great,no problems til now.One thig that I don;t like is that doesn't have flash light.don't think by this phone.

yap pao,i got mine in alabang town center. i believe some one already posted here as well that she got hers from greenhills.. but let me remind u, as a fellow country men,.. the cracking of keypads does really happen.mine just got 2 cracks in one month use.. but dont worry, i've already called SE and told me they'll fix it free of charge as long as you're still in the warranty that's why make it sure that you'll buy it in a authorized SE dealer.. mabuhay ka!

Its 2 weeks that i ve been using this w580i black color.Actually my cousin bought it first which i found to be really good and than i decided to buy.
But my opinion about this good looking phone has changed with in no time as this phone is not at all a reliable product.
It has got many constructional probs like the sliding mechanism which is becoming hard day by day(my cousin's w580 sliding mechanism almost lost that sliding action).The keypad is really a thing to worry
which feels delicate and unreliable. The battery will not last long more than one day.
And no complains about the music,camera,fitness etc.
I just want to caution those who are looking for a reliable sony ericsson mobile not to choose this model.

i have this phone in just a few days and i really love it! its a great phone, i used to have razrs motorolas, but this time i tried this phone cause was cheaper and now every new phone i buy will be sony ericsson! its fast, intelligent, and powerful!
