i find that if you go into settings and turn down the screen brightness to 50% instead of the stock setting 100, that will increase your battery life tremendously. at %100 a full battery lasted not even a day but at 50% the battery lasted a good 2 days. battery life will also depend on amount of speaker music listening and texting and talking on phone.

as for the inbox capacity, pretty sure i reached about 700 before it started to tell me "over 95% full" that was inbox only. keeping in mind of course that there were a similar number of texts in the 'sent messages' folder as well...outstanding memory for texts but crappy keypads forsure.

upgraded to a w580i, keypad cracked within the 30 days...(it turned into a different button cracking everyday) swapped it out for a new one had that one for one day and one of the plastic button plates popped right off. im going for the w810 now...i can't deal with the hassle..if you don't text a lot this phone would be perfect for anyone. ...as said before..keep as many numbers as possible in the directory. to ensure longer life as far as the keypads go..press directly in the middle of each button, this is where the support lies.
every other feature of the phone will blow your mind. excellent device aside from the keypad, worth every penny.

Thank you Anthony.... But just wondering how little do you have to cut the mp3 before it'll allow you to use it as a ringtone?

You need to cut the mp3 file down with a mp3cutter program. I use it and it works great. Most mp3 music files are to large in size. So by cutting the size of a mp3 file it will work perfectly as a ringtone.

I just got this phone in grey and the bottom of the fone has "O2 logo" and it is made in Malaysia. I thought it is supposed to be made in Sweden and no logo on the phone except SE. Also, how do you use Shake Control? I tried it many time but it didn't work at all. Do you know anywhere that I can download more themes? Thanks.

Got this phone two days ago. So far no issues. Great camera and graphics. Extremely loud much better than my last sony (w810) Music quality is great. No cracks in keypad seems pretty solid. The look of this phone is amazing. 10 out of 10 for style and for features. Just a bit disappointed with no 3g. But if ur looking for a thin masterpiece this is the phone!

It's a nice stylish phone but the battery life is too short...THERE MUST BE WAY TO TURN OFF THE SIDE LIGHTS to save some power.

I've had this phone for 2 months now and some of the keys are begining to crack in half. I do text often (about 150 a month) and I feel dissapointment with sony. I've had other phones and they've last me years. I signed a 3 year contract and now i'm stuck with this phone. it's a great mp3 player phone but sucks as a text messaging phone. I even called sony ericsson and they said that they "can't do anything" and basically its your loss. I understand have the warranty for the phone but 2 mnths into a contract out of 36 and the phone is already broken. I even taked to the manager and she was even more rude than the first guy!
Conclusion: If you text at all, or dial numbers instead of storing them in your phone, get something else!
