Im from the states i just got this phone a few days ago and its a really sweet little device!!! the graphics/colors are great, its nice and small but not to small, The sound qualty is steller in the MP3 player, and has some great features like sony erissons do. recaption is verry good its a must if you like working out and enjoy a music phone. sony ericsson are truly the best phones and most duribal. phones ive had include sony ericsson Z500, razor, blackberry, sliverL6, and the old nokia BRICK everyone had at least once. this phone has some of the old Z500 features plus a ton more pick it up!!!

I'm on my second handset within 6 weeks and same keypad cracking has occured.I really dont want a third handset and hope that when i contact o2 AGAIN they don't fob me off with another.

black peace was so good but the default is of infrared was not their so if u can arrange the infrared red in the mobile the sales will be more

had the phone for around a month and the screen has just packed up being sent back to Sony to wait and see what they have to say

have you seen this one in pink? its reeeeal cute!! but i have it in grey/blue! i noticed the keypad fault..and the on i have now, is the third phone of this kind...but with this one i havent had any problems at all! i love the light effects..makes it real feminin! so i realy realy like it..tha battery could have been better, but if you turn of the LS, its much better instantly

Currently i m using Nokia 6270. Now i m looking for to change my mobile. I m interesting in Sony W580i. Could u tell me is my choice is right??? Wat is the main advantage and disadvantage of this phone?? I m v v v crazy about listening loud music, so is my choice Sony W580i is right??? Plzzzzzz Help me out...... Thank......

Hey buddies,its a nice phone but with a bit low sound quality n radio doesn't work well if used with some other application but look n lights effect can turn you on.. i suggest you to take it now..

Had this phone for over a month now, it's later than a week 22 model, love the design, love the walkman functionality.
Battery on the low side (hope to turn off the lights to get that better) but it ain't too much of an issue as unlike other phones where the battery indicator is either "full" or "you're dead", it does drain gradually.
Big problem though: *gasp* my # key has just started to show a crack. So it seems it doesn't matter when your phone was made, there is a design fault in the keypad which means more breakages than normal. Boo.
It's back to carphone warehouse where I bought it, hope they offer a swap rather than sending it off to the chop shop for an indeterminate period of time.

but i went onto the SE website and saw it in black
I searched around fot this phone on vodafone and couldn't get hold of it
anyine know anything about it.?

My question is why this phone W580i has so short range of it's bluetooth; and can I use the phone frequently while the battery has it's first charge.

Just got this phone it really looks awesome, But I can definitely see how fragile the numbers keys can be.. Just wondering if anyone figured out how to make mp3 ring tones for this phone?
