How can you say it depends on the user?thats bull. I had to RMA this phone 4times with the same problem. 5 of my colleagues had to return them about 3times due to the same problem. The buttons are faulty and its not the users fault. I went through 4 of them in the space of 2weeks, thats not my fault its the manufacturers fault. I have the N95 now and no problems with that

                                Hi Mrty,

Yes, the 580i does show missed calls. As with other SE phones, you get an icon (red arrow) to show a missed call......and a default shortcut links to calls - calls made and missed.

Tim, to fit 400 songs on 512mb, convert your songs into aac+ format. AAC+ is a much smaller file size that doesnt compromise the sound quality.

how do you manage to fit in 400 or so songs in 512mb??

i have around 120 songs and the audio bitrate is 128 Kbps. do u have to compress them to like 64 Kbps or 32 Kbps? wont it affect the quality quite considerably (im talking about earphones)?

                                        please someone let me know.
                                        thanks.
