I work in a phone shop and i have got to say its the worst handset EVER. Cracked keypads and faulty screens and thjat just the start.

hey...this phone is so gud to use....it's vry light to carry n use...specially i like the red velvet colour its looks so cool....i just loved it....

But anyway, I've had this phone for about 7 months now and I think it's a nice phone but it has one problem - the keypad is cheaply made and no matter how careful you are with it,it will crack eventually. I have two cracked keys so far, but they say the new ones don't have this problem but I don't know. Anyway, I don't think it's a big problem because it's a slider phone and the keys are hidden. The best thing about this phone is its sound. The music is loud and clear. It also looks very nice and sleek and it has lots of light colors but don't have good ring tones though. Also, the camera isn't the best one out there. Over all, it's a good phone especially if you like music but u need to treat it carefully because it's not the toughest phone out there.

heya...i finally speak out after using this phone 4 abt 8 months. WOW!! W580i Rocks! although the keypad is fragile, soft handling fixes the problem. its walkman, EXCELLENT display, sleekness, multicolour side lights r unique. Hey Hey and this is a strong phone of its class(i myself dropped it atleast 4 times scattering the battery and back panel out but still works fine). even with 1GB of data its response is quick.the camera is decent...
A good phone for carefull users and i suggest scratchproof black colour model for better looks.

I have this phone just over a month now. So far I'm enjoying it. The only negative is the short battery life. Otherwise, I think I made a good investment.

I never seen a useless phone like this. I purchased yhis phone on 10 oct 2007 and during this 11 months my phone was 3 months in the service centre for 3 times.
Demerits.
1.Bateery backup
2. Kepad cracking
3.Display problem
4.speaker problem

My song ericsson phone is terrible, aside from the buttons cracking, my return button and the button attached to it, does not work. and the camera button rarely works. is anyone else having this problem?

This is a lovely phone, but within 2 months of having it the keys cracked and it refused to accept the memory card. I'd put it in but it wasn't picked up by the handset.
After 4 months of repairs I'm trading in... when it breaks it really breaks
