Here we can access a free site offered by the service provider through gprs. That site provies streaming of a NEWS Channel. When i click the link, w810i's video player opens and starts streaming.
I hav seen the option named somewhat as "Streaming Settings" somewhere. I don't remember where and can't clear my doubt since i lost my w810. Now wanna buy this one.... SE's new w610.

Auz…I don’t think this phone supports video streaming…and frankly I don’t know why this phone lacks this feature, but it doesn’t bother me. I also don’t care about these polytones, like you said, mp3/video ringtones is waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy better!!! :)
Rush…what do you want to know? :) Well…Personally, I bought this phone because of its appearance, it’s a walkman phone, got some great features, battery life (23hrs nonstop mp3 playback with phone calls in between – it beats my nano)
Although the keypad can take some time to get use to…so basically you have to ask yourself, what features do you want in your phone? Do size matters to you?
There’s no perfect phone, there will always be some negative stuff on it…

puh-lease...this phone's megabass is also not bad!and its got a better design than n91!!after all,this is not THAT BIG!!!!and its got a pretty good features...se's phones are never bad!

This phone does support video streaming(Mobile-review.com).
My w810i has video streaming ability.. then how come this phone miss that feature.

Do anyone hav a 72 tone polyphonic (*.mid file) ringtone? do anyone hav a 40 polytone? i wonder why people die on the no: tone channels their phone supports... after all i think mp3 ringtones perform better than poly tones

That's why i'm recomending you a Sony Ericsson phone because the brand have lots of native accessories to dress-up your phone and even improve it only at the cost of a bulk on your pocket=) but some of shayn's opinion over the N91 music quality is correct, though i won't say that overall, N91 is ahead of SE. different approach comes with N73, as this phone is not a real dedicated music phone as contrast to W610 in which the unnoticeable aspect is the enhanced sound rendering algorithm in which Walkmans have.

My brother just got this phone and after trying it, I must say it's a really good phone. Currently I have my N91 ME and I hate the sound quality - which btw was the reason why I bought the phone. I thought since Nokia has tagged it as "Music Edition" it would mean better sound quality, but I was wrong. It simply pointed out that it has higher memory storage than the other N91.
I love the headphones that came with the package. They're really good but the MegaBass is kinda too much though that sometimes it doesn't sound nice anymore. And the camera quality is great especially with the autofocus.
Nonetheless this phone is a catch. I might switch soon. I think. Haha.

Thanks for replying SeF..and for the hint about the OT-S853, but I really don't think it might be one of the likely options for me because its OS is not easy to use and looks really childish..I felt as if the screenshots were taken from a gameboy's screen or something! LOL
and after all, alcatel is one of the worst-selling mobile-phone manufacturers nowadays so this 2.1 story might just be a marketing thing in order to increase their sales figures {the guys from gsmarena reviewing that phone said they couldn't find the subwoofer anywhere} =) *I wonder if my wish to have a phone that sounds great both from the headset & the loudspeaker is a dream that wouldn't come true* :(
So Shayn..you're saying that the W610's music capabilities are not good? did u try comparing it to your N73 ME? Btw..I know that this is off-topic and off-thread too :) but in one of your comments shayn you said that people who want a music phone should go for the N91 8GB or N73 ME, so I was wondering..is the N73 ME up to the level of N91 in music performance or what??! or even up to the level of any walkman phone..or did u mean that the next best music phone after the N91 is the N73 ME?? and is the headset that came with your N73 ME good enough or are u using third-paty headphones? (and another silly question..did it come with some preloaded songs?) :)

It was really hard to decide which is better between the two. but if you really love small size and willing to pay more bucks, then W610 is for you. most people prefer size over features even though price is a premium to pay. if you really want small size and better features check out the T650;-D

honestly no other phone has dedicated bass speaker except the Alcatel OT-S853. and phone's tiny and tinny speaker sound isn't enough to hear bassy sounds, better buy an optional accessory like MPS-70/MPS-60 snap on speakers which has larger speaker modules to produce more natural sound unlike the tiny mmobile phone speakers.

"SE's megapixel is not as high as nokias." simply because nokia reached 5mp and SE has still 3.2mp. but this has been an issue for a very long time already, and we already know who leads the way=D

Hey guys! is this phone available yet?! if yes then I need someone who actually owns or used this phone to make a point clear for me..about the W610's polyphony, Gsmarena here states that it's 72 channels..while mobile-review.com says it's 40 and SE's official site doesn't mention it at all! I really need to know because if it's 40 channels then I won't buy it! I'll go for W710 as I need the polyphony to be 72 channeled! so, anyone knows..?

to sam,,you want an opinion well if its foto quality why not buy the w810i or the very much respected k750i and if in uk woolys are doing the k750i for 80 quid,,dont go for the 7390 for foto quality because yes its a stylish fone and i was going to get it for 300 quid on payg in voda shop but its fotos are washed out lacklustre and megapixels dont mean that much..Carfone are doing the k750 in red as well and for foto quality its hard to beat this model and as an owner of the k550 and k800 i the k800 i is not good for me in bright sunlight it cannot cope or at least ive tried everything..The k550i i got because of sick of symbian and wanted a weell equipped smallfone and this has the lot,,altho i bought it on o2 im using voda and its the same as w610 just diff colour and has walkman 2 software which to me is just a waste of 70 quid beacause ive got the k550i playing dancetrax with exellant sound,,but as ive said on k550 thread its up to you but i reckon the fone the lad said below the n91 would have better fotos than 7390,,

Just Giving advice people.
If you want a Music Phone Only. Then go for the N91 4GB/8GB.
* SE Walkman phones has MEGA-BASS
* But Nokia N91 4GB/8GB Has Ultra-Bass which is 100x times better than MEGA-BASS also the Audio Quality is Great. World best portable Audio Device.
If you dont believe me then why not pop in store ask for demonstration & use the phone.
Wen using phone as demonstration connect headset set Bass Booster Eqaulizer & put full volume the earphones shake with the beat of the Bass of the song... it great...

ive been using this fone for weeks and it roks...
it has everything..
TFD screen 176*220
sound quality is awesome
basically gr8 phone..
its like w800.
but an improved version of it...
it has " MEGA BASS "
auto focus n alot more..
so guys if ur stuck on lanning to buy k800, w850 and w810..
plz forget those models ..
n think abt this one.
this fone is the best rite noww...

I like tiny design of w610 but k800 got better camera and at Link can buy it for 129 and W610 cost 149
