I had a K608i and I had the same problem. With mine, I would press the "1" key to dial or to use character when sending an SMS but it refused to display the character, as if it the key was not making contact underneath the pad. If I pressed hard enough it would recognize but that ultimately damages the phone. If you hang around for 2 weeks and restart it often it tends to go away. Nevertheless it comes back every now and then. I hope this helps!

This is a really nice phone. Played around with one today. Small, stylish and fun.
The orange back looks a lot nicer in real life, and the phone overall is very easy to use.
Highly recommended!

Have had this phone for a week, everything's fine except for a couple of the keys just refuse to work every now & again no matter how hard I press them- am sending back the handset- just wondering whether anyone has had this problem too? Hope it's just this handset not a general fault! Cheers

TFD is a display which is able to produce abt the same quality of displays as compared to TFT. TFD JUST CONSUMES LESS POWER THATS ALL. And/or mayb the display quality will be "slightly" tiny bit lousier compared to TFT. Tats all

you will not convince me.
TFD is just as good as TFT? eh, no it isn't.
The only logical reason is power saving and cheaper!
It uses emulation to achieve colours that TFTs can reproduce naturally. (That should tell you something)
Compare them - I have.

Let me tell u this... Just cos there was a TFD in the specs of this phone people have started discussing about it. I've been using this phone for a while and i know a thing or two about displays too. TFD display is not bad at all... In fact it is as good as any other display in the market. You will not be able to find any difference in the display quality or the color reproduction. We are not some display engineers to be talking bout the technical aspects of the the display. Dump all the tfd tft discussions and IF U R THINKING TWICE BEFORE GETTING THIS MOBILE ONLY COS OF THE TFD THEN GO AHEAD AND BUY IT. I'M VERY SURE YOU WONT BE ABLE TO MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE IN THE QUALITY.

SE are going backwards then
Nokia are putting 16M colours and TFT displays in their phones.
SE are making small displays with 262K colours - there really going backkkwardsss.
