I compared my w610 with my friend's N73 night shots and to my surprise, my w610 takes better pictures at night than the 3 MP N73. I won't replace this phone. I can buy another model but no way I'll replace it.
This is the best phone in it's range.

you probably didn't read the manual. it says there that the new battery may be exhausted easily but its performance will improve overtime after several charges and discharges.
that exactly was my complaint before but now, w610 surprises me to no end because the battery lasts for at most 10 days, with proper firmware upgrade, or even more.

omg! you are complaining about the battery? mine lasts for at most 10 days with minimal texting.
occasional texting with 1 hour music playing everyday plus a total of 30-minute call will last for at least 4 days.
battery is awesome. the best i've ever seen. just upgrade the firmware

no probs no glitches its working nicely.

i have this pohne about 2 weeks and believe me it's a great phone, is fasta running apps, the java games run wonderful and have multi tasking, you can have 5 java apps at the same time runing, the battery can be better but its the only one thing that can be better in my opinnion, the camera is good on day but in night its not so good, apart of this all its perfect, i recomend this phone if you want a good phone that can be used as mp3 player and phone

This is great phone with decent Muzik Player,but Sony should improve the Batt life,if that works well then I Could give Sony 100/100.

Its a great small Machine,that works on good Mp3 Player,but SonyE should emphasise on batt life,ang an Auto focus in the camera.Just great this Phone is................................................

Dose anybody know how to change the menu on this phone and if so how do you need any software as i have this phone i have diffrent themes but the menu layout stays the same Thanks

I have this phone 2 months. It is very good. Excellent sound, very good battery, average display. Nice phone much much better than my terrible Nokia 6300 (only god can make this thin a phone!)

it's a great phone,, specialy in the internet browsing and applications, so great and all apps are working:
Google Maps..!!, G-Mail..!!
Yahoo (mail, weather, search & all yahoo features) with flicker ..!!
Opera Mini in the HTML is so wonderful
also working on this phone....!!
Music is so great and i think it's louder than the W810, camera isn't bad,

i bought this phone on 5.10.'07 and i think it's great. there are two things that are bugging me.
1. front side is glossy so it can easily get dirty
2. i need someone to tell me if this happens on other phones with different firmware, here's the thing: when writing a message, i hold my w610 in the right hand and accidently i press the camera button, the problem is, when the camera button is pressed, while writing a message, buttons #4 and #6 are not working...
does this happen to anyone else? or will it stop if i change the firmware?

If you will overcharge your phone, the battery will bloat and it will not be useful anymore. Most of Sony Ericsson batteries charge in 2.5h to 3h only

Can someone please tell me which phone is the better to buy? The w610 or w580. The w580 is real cool but I'm afraid of key pad cracking.

i already have a new software updated but still cant support aac files..play now icon at menu has gone..
