Is it just my luck or is this phone's battery not that good?
It has reduced from 100% to 80% within several hours, without using the phone (I've purchased it two days ago).
Am I supposed to keep it plugged in for 12 hrs for the first 3 battery chargings like with the older versions or not?

Friends one thing more about TFD.
Believe me w610i TFD is 2 times more brighter & clear than w810i.
W810i 100% brightness = W610i -40 to 50% brightness.
TFD looks better than TFT.

Finally I bought this beauty in last December.
yes yes yes. this is really a gr8 gr8 phone.perfect in this price.
Design & looks are great.
Features & software performance is marvelous.
Even with 90% used memory, no lag in performance.
Battery life is great.In stand-by mode about 7 days.
Sound is loud & nice.Specially through ear phones its superb.
Walkman & mega Bass is perfect.
In 2.0 maga catogary cam is o.k.
People say that key pad is difficult to operate but
Believe me on 1st day I felt some difficulity in using this key pad but after just one day I started to love this pad.
Actually Every new born has its unique features,w610i pad is some what different from routien key pads.so one does not accept it in a moment.But when you will keep this phone for some time you will definitely love it.
My brother has W810i, mine is W610i,I compared these two in detail.
In my openion. Overall (Not in every respect) W610i is better than W810i.
In short if you buy this beauty, you will never lose your money.

it was a nice phone for like 2 months. the chrome started commin off the directional keypad, key #5, the two other buttons used for selection and most horrific was the walkman logo. although i never took out the cover, the chrome still came of. the software is great but lags alot when very litle memory is left. the features r great and the speaker is nice n loud. preset themes are also really nice. such a pity the paint job sucks. paint is alo peeling of. paint that was kept under a crystal case which was neer taken out

The phone is cool
Nice sound thru spkrs
but the stereo widenning function not so satisfying......
Its an amazing phone wid lots of functions the camera flash is amazing
camera weak in dark....

the black and the orange color designed w610 is so kool probably this is one of the best w series phones for the prize ... but the major problem is can we accept a screen resolution of this size in todays cell phones ? ...

its support aac format, I`ve tried it..
U can update w610 firmware from sonyericsson.com
I think TFT better than TFD. TFT produce natural colour.. but, TFD more brighter..
I`ve been using w610 for 6months nstill the best phone tha I ever use.. ^^

ofcourse TFT is better...but TFD is almost that good..TFT hv a better contras.. If i had 2 choose between TFT n TFD..I would choose TFD bcoz it consume less batery life..
