does SE said that this phone supposed to be a "new version"? its only your expection? coz i think its only yours and of course its so disappionting to you, well w610 wasnt made for your expectations. just look for another fon coz for us here, we like this fon. we like this fon not bcoz its a "newer version" of w801, we like this for what it is.

yeah thats true but we all no if were talking about "Walkman Version" it must be brilliant and this phone supposed to be a "new version" updated from the previous version but its not.Im just clarifying thing here that this phone is so much disapointing

W610i is just a Update version of W810i so is W850i there both Updates to the W810i !
these are the differences:
Walkman 2.0
Version 2 of SE's Platform
New slim on design (W850i Slider)
New Navigation pad for Walkman
W610i is Walkman Phone of Moment and W850i
W810i is still a Legend of a Phone though

you want w810? then go for it. buy it. use it. end of story.
w610 doesnt have zoom at 2mp, so what? its not a cybershop, or a camera fone, its walkman fon which has a 2.0 version.

It has music mate.
I think w610 not better than w810..
but I prefer to buy w610 n I bought it last week. because it have latest java engine, slim, n only $240 US.
walkman 2.0 interface is very cool.. but there is no significant improvement from 1.0
2mp camera n TFD screen are poor.
overall point: 8/10.

w810 is not a bit old if im the one to choose which better phone to buy ill go to w810i why???,bcoz its the same as w610i the only different of the two is that w610i has a TFD screen and walkman player v.2 only thing that lacks of w810i is that features, and the lack of w610i is the features of w810i that even though it set in 2 MP camera it can zoom up to 4x while w610i dont have addition to that w610i has only 2.3x zoom in VGA mode thats it...

and scroll it down you can see a picture that say "TRY IT FOR YOURSELF" the browsing could take along time but once you got there you can browse the phone thinking its in your palm of your hand

i think sound quality are the same only thing is walkman player v.2 where you can see the picture of the artist, camera is not good the photolight features has no effect while the PICTURE SIZE of 2 MP and 1 MP cant be zoom, you can only zoom it in VGA mode. I know bcoz i bought one for my gf and its disapointing much better i bought the w810i

i am currently using w610i and its awesome..
for all those confused b/w w810 and w610
if u want a better camera fone go for w810..its absolute peach though a bit old.
w610 is slim and sexy..awesome Walkman ver 2.0.

I think I'd like to purchase this phone...but I'm at a standstill.
I've seen many reviews about it [I'm weighing the option of buying the w610 or the w580] but I'd love to hear gsmarena's opinion first - b4 buying.

it is the best phone i have ever had is so brilliant i would rate this phone out of 10/10 very good phone love it.
