I had the s500 before the W610...definitely would choose the w610 over the S500. It's about $70 less (about $225 shipped on eBay), has the great Walkman player, performs better in every aspect (menu response, games, etc.), is as small as the S500 when the S500 is CLOSED, orange>green, radio, more internal memory...

phone is excellent browsing is fast handling is great,the only thing that i notice is the camera it seem if you focus it on a mid-darker area the flash wont work i tried it bcoz i just bought one for my wife last night,or it need to be search/read or browse more how to use the flash feature

Just got this phone. Had a Sam. T629 before. The phone is alot smaller than I had imagined; it's the size of most Samsung sliders when they are closed. About as slim as the new U600 (friend has that one), and about as long. The display is very nice, fairly easy to view in sun at 70% brightness. For music, the included headphones and with minor treble adjustments to the Bass preset, it sounds amazing. The bass is alot more prominent than I would have thought from such tiny headphones. The radio works as one would expect, easy to use. Now, the keypad is rather tiny so texting can be a bit slow but I'm sure you would get used to it after time. The backspeaker isn't the best for playing music through; I was worried if I got a K550 case (for the camera cover) that it would muffle the back speakers sound, but the backspeaker isn't worth saving. Also, the calls sound a bit muffled as well. But otherwise, the performance of this phone is rather great. If you want flash menus, it's really easy to put on.

I download my songs on "emule" and "ares"....but first you have to download the programm. All is free. But I have a question.

Just bought this phone lst week, n im very satisfied with the phone, the display is clear n sharp, i've been using nokia 3230 for 2yrs n da best thing bout w610 compare to n3230 is da sound is damn good and the system is very fast no lag at all!

The price is $399.00, but it depends where you buy it....not everyshop has the same price. But my best friend bought it during summer at that price..but I have no idea if the price will change or something...because I'm not in the us for the moment....Sorry:(...I wish I was able to help you!!!....Good luck + keep searching!!

why are u guys keep comparing w610 n w810?for me both are almost the same,the difference is only in its casing n TFD screen...i really dont get it why SE keep on making new phone with SO little changes...i guess there are no reason for w810 users to upgrade to w610...its useless n a waste of money...
