choose the w610. k550 dont have walkamn features. you dont use your cam 24/7...

See "a", I suggest you the W610 because it is a walkman and has plenty more features.
S500 has keypad problems. I also suggest you the W580 or W810 or W710.

This phone has MEGABASS. In fact, all Walkman phones (from W200 to W950), have Mega Bass

i just wanted to say this that all of u who think this fone lacks mega bass are wrong
megabass is trademark walkman series and is in nearly every walkman fone
if u want proof then go to youtube and search for w610 ull get ur answer

well im also thinking abt getting this fone im prettty sure im gonna buy this but i have two things to ask is the camera credible enough to be compared to k550 ive heard its a bit yellowish
secondly the tfd screen does it go back on the quality of the screen
plzzz somebody anybody whos had this for themselves give me some answers thnxxxxx :)

Abt megabass,
Sony Ericsson sites all over the world didn't mention abt MEGA BASS in their walkman phone w610i earlier. They highlighted Stereo Widening, but not mega bass. There were no clue abt this phone having mega bass. I think they just omited it for this phone. But in the specifications of other walkman phones they did mention MEGA BASS but not in the specs of this phone. That caused all the confusion...

and in 35 to 39 pages of this post, seems like they had an epidemic issue about wether this have a mega bass or not. wew. anyways, i came to realize marami pala tayo dito. Hi Steph. hehe

3afsa, i think i give a better rate about the camera of w610 than you do there with your review. it is even good when at night, thought comparing with digical camera, it has a big difference. in the first place, its a fone, not a camera. anyways, it still has a better camera.

Hi....Every one.......
I just bought this phone for 2 weeks ago.....I decide to buy it after a long search on the Net and reading lot of article about it............Now I'll talk as a user of it and give u my opinion :
- Designe: Superb, Thin, good material (I like it in the black&Orange version more) | just one thing, it left finger prints in the front, Button has dust easly, the back side has no problem cause it's a diffrent material...
-Sound: aloud enough, clear, Superb on ear-phone, New feature called "Stereo widing" but i dont like it very much cause it low down the bass.
-Camera: Average, not bad, eaven with 2MB but it's normal and it's a little dark eaven in the moring (This is a music phone based so don't look much for the camera).
-Button key: I heard a lot in many article on the Net that they are not confotable and bad designe....but with my expirience i garant that they are super cool, no problem with them....the small size and their material are very good.
-Display: how Said TFD has a poor display, this is not true, the quality of the image is superb, bright and full of color, there is just one thing, it's about when u watch a video, the phone show lot of pixels when the images change fast (maybe to keep the perfermonce of the phone stable).
-Other features: It's a fully multi-tasking, full support of flash files (u can use them as wallpaper or screensaver), fast menu and processing time, good manage of files ( u can have a preview of a video file without eaven open it | u can search for a file by typing it name or first letter like in contact).
Well..... this is my analyse............I like this phone a lot, It's not a high range phone but with his price and features its a superb Music Phone.........

I don't think that sleep mode is present in the w610, but that shouldn't affect anyone~

Shan, Damn I really dont know why my standby clock is not coming after I read your opinion :) It is just not there and I dont know where it went, it was there all this while :(

For Shan,
The security feature is in there in Phone Protection > Locks > Security but I have not tried it and I really doubt, it will prompt for a code before accessing the photos. It would be just a code to access the keypad and start dialling.
I am still working at your clock feature. The time comes by default actually on my cell, K750 style.
