to clarice.
the reason i asked is cuz i did see two artist folders: one in "MP3" and one in "MSS." I erased one folder before, i think it was the one in "MSS" when i did that, i couldnt go to the "artist" folder from the file manager, meaning, i couldnt use my MP3 files for ringtones. However, i am able to play the songs through walkman. i guess ill try to fix this again when i get the chance.

To Jags:
So far i believe so yes. I go on all day about 1 1/2 hour of calls daily, have over 15 games installed on my phone and go on about playing with them like, 3 hours, and listen to music for over an hour daily, i use alarm clock, reminders, etc, and xfer files to computer. u need to remember, if u conect ur phone via usb cable to computer, it will also charge your battery while it goes on xfering files.
so will all mass usage i've got, lets's say i need to charge the battery every 2 days or so.
does this answer your question? Hope so :D
To Adrian, most likely, u'll be able to find it at a TELCEL retailer.
Pd. I still have those mp4 pending huh, could u please email me?
To levi:
This does not goes for double hun, artist folders are within the mp3 one.
and to rockafeller:
What's meant to be will be in this case, memory stick comes for 512 mb, so I wouldn't personally ry making anything to extend the memory to double, I'd rather pay.

to rockafeller,
yeah i dont use disc2phone. what i do is copy and paste the files by opening two windows (one folder for my itunes and the other of the memory card using a card reader). Here's my problem:
when u access the memory file on ur comp, theres, like, 4 folders- "DSC" (for pic files) "MP3 "(for the walkman) and something like "MSC." The "MSC" folder contains the folders: Artist, Themes, Ringtones, etc. What i needed to know is: Do you need to put the mp3 files in the "MP3" folder AND the "Artist" folder?????
PS: i agree w/ u bout the disc2phone software...more complicated than just dragging the files u want to the phone memory stick

by the way, ust wanna ask.. i read from the other forum that you can double your memory card size by deleting the partition or something via windows xp disc manager.. is that safe? read it from lasyk.net and easto.com .. have you guys tried it or know about it?
Ex: 512MB into a 1024MB
thanks.. appreciate it..

to Levi:
hmm.. all you have to do is to save you mp3 files in a new folder before saving it to your memory card > MP3 folder,
ex: create an artist folder (ex: dave matthew's band) and put in there the song of that artist.. and when youre done with all of that, copy them all and paste them in the MP3 folder of your memory card..no need to use disc2phone software..anyway, that is how i did it, and it works great.. disc2phone is much to confusing..
anyway if still have trouble, just ask.. hehe..

Question about the mp3 folder:
Do u really have to have the mp3 files saved on the "Artist" folder and the "MP3" folder???
if so then that means, each mp3 files actually consumes twice the space. that really sux.
if not, then can someone tell me if the files would show up in "walkman" mode AND in the "File Manager" menu

Iam confused between W550 & W800.
Which one do you suggest. I mean is the extra what i pay for W800 as compared to W550 is worth that amount??
Also please give me a comparison of their sound & picture quality. I primarily want a mp3 phone with FM & a camera for casual photos...
Also how is the Keypad of W550? as i heard it is not too good..
