which one is better? NOKIA or SE (or samsung or motorola)? it doesnt matter. if the product is good just buy it. cant understand these ppl, keep on bashing about SE W800 like it is a sin not to own nokia. i've never own a nokia phone. not becoz i hv any qualm with the brand, it just that i couldnt find model that struck my cornea and spike up my testorone level (3230 is quite enticing but...not convince with the stability) maybe someday i would...

SE users.
SE users, it is no shame to not be able to afford a Nokia phone. Even though the SE phones are "low cost" phones compared to Nokia, they are very good. In my experience people who want high end phones but can`t afford Nokia tend to buy SE. SE will always be a step behind Nokia. The reason SE phones are costs much less is because they are not as good as Nokia phones. Do you realy think you can compare a 500 dollar phone to a 1000 dollar phone??? Grow up.

i have had many nokia s in the past but never again.to many software problems.. sony ericsson is stealing the top spot at the min.

The N90 is better than the Sony Ericsson W800i. It may have a worse camera(still good though) & not as good at playing MP3's. But the fact is it is better at everything else. First of all Sony Ericsson supporter it's a smartphone. This already makes it BETTER! It has a brillint screen compared to the standard & smaller screen on the W800i. The video editing appliction is also far more powerful in terms of tools & options available. The video resolution destoys the W800i's measily 176x144 resolution. The phone is also very well put together. People say that the phone is big, chunky & heavy but I have one & have never found any problems with it. When folded up it is about the same size as a Nokia 6680, so this is fine for me. Lot's of people will buy a W800i as their won't be that many people who can afford an N90 so this is also an advantage of having the N90. The phone also stands out more. The only reason your complaining is because you can't afford it.

The W800i does not work as a Symbian phone. I suggest if you want a good camera phone and Symbian OS you should go for the Nokia N90.

says it has 36 months of international warranty. i am somehow tempted to buy it. but... i think il go for the sites like plemix.com or something. coz il be sure that its not a scam.

i dunno whether to get w800 or k750 coz i read the specs and i dun see much difference. from what i can see its only the price and colour difference. can anyone comment? and whether these 2 phones works as a symbian phone? thanks lotz

Furqan... yes you can change the theme in the w800. If you want to download themes go to www.myw800.com you will find more interesting theme than the original sony ericsson's theme. I would think that w800 is better than 7610, depends wat you are looking for. If you are asking for camera and mp3 players, this phone definitely better than 7610.

i am currently using 7610 but soon i will change it to w800 but can any one tell me that is there themes and or can we change the themes of w8oo and plz do tell me that w800 is better then 7610 or not.

Yes, it's a "brick." But that's not always a bad thing. Maybe the D500 is a better design--but then everyone is paranoid of the slide braking; and, flip phones break easier. So, pick your posion.

I've own the W800i, and tried the K750i. There are obviious differences; put them side-by-side and compare--please, before misleading people.

Be careful--be very careful. Is it a US model and/or that has a warranty in the US? The first US models were/are only offered by SonyStyle; so, my guess is a less expensive W800 is an import from someone that did not expect such a quick release in the US. However, I'm just speculating.

i guess i had a bad w800i then who cares im getting Nokia N90 in like 1 month when it comes out here so i dont wanna care i dont really use the cam so i will use me w800i for now as music player which that i admit is AMAZING perfect sound id give it about 9.5/10 ( FROM A NOKIA LOVER ) w800i was the first sony i ever used it is ok a orangy i guess but ill c how n90 is i know its too big but must b better than w800 :P

hey olyana, thanks a lot! some people are sending me an email saying that they sell the SE w800 for around $350 and if i buy more, the cheaper it gets. u think its not a scam? i really want the phone. lol!

First of all! There are some people who seems to have a hard time coping with the fact that SE w800i is better than the nokia n90.... I say that those who are jelaous of the w800i may shut up. Please...
Further more, the access of the w800i in Sweden is very difficult. I'm getting mine the 5th of september.... SonyEricsson for the people!

i took a photo of my dads horses and the photo was first class just like a camera would take.. not one blurry photo .video is sharp too . the review is correct..i give it 10/10
