This is absolutely the best phone in the market.
I've had it for 3 months and now I have decided I will never ever carry a Nokia again in my hand.

this the best phone and iam planing to buy it very soon. all the nokia phones are useless,BIG BRIKS ,no voice quality.they are BAD PHONES.

I just read a request concerning the price of the w810i in egypt , wel the price is exactly : 2600 LE , and it can be found in the City Stars Center in Cairo .

RINGTUNES:
If you bought the phone with the 1 GIG stick, and if its a Rogers Wireless phone, you cannot set your own mp3's as ringtunes. I dont know about any other providers. You have to get your phone UNBRANDED, which is what I did, and only now I can set my own mp3's as ringtunes.
Go to any store, and they should be able to do it. Tell them you only want the Sony software on it, and not an service providers software

Its an exellent phone the only problem I found is that I can't play formats othe then 3gp as my videos and the second problem I'm facing is the sms memory. Memory is limited and if any one can tell me about how to back up my sms on computer that would be really greatful as I can't find any thing of that sort... As for the music player its the best I hav ever uses but over all it lacks flexibilty if compared to Nokia.. I'm am misssing my nokia...

I sold my N 6288 and now I got SE W810i....the best choise in mobile phones I've ever made. Keep up the good work SE!

hi friends...i hav 2 GB card with 810i
but when i transfer songs onto the phone....it only transfers somw folders of the songs.....that too randomly
cant u transfer folders in the "mp3" folder in the 810i ??? it can be done in my k750i..
due to this.....sometimes my pics taken by the cam r not saved.......
do i hav ne problem with my card or is it with the fone ???
plz reply....i always reply to the posts on gsmarena.plz guyzz

for uploading and storing contact, you can always synchronize with MS outlook in your pc.
btw, I have a question, does any one know how to download games from internet using this phone. When I try, for any .JAR file, it says "Invalid Application". Is there a different browswer which i can use, where there is no error like this ?

some pictures that i take from my camera look fine on the phone, but when i transfer to my PC the snap has grains(small spots). Can any one tell me why this happens. Also why sometimes the pictures are blurred. Thanks in advance

To set mp3 as ring tones go to file manager sounds, select the song and us as ringtone. thats it...

hi i buy this phone on 12 of november in india(delhi) ast 14500 rs. i get 2 small microphone,2 tiny speakers(coool loud sound) and a data cable and a cd. this phone is really cool. in music as u know sony rules the music world its great in quality. in camera u again know sony rules the camera market also....in this phone i found a feature in camera function that we can take along wide image which will divide in 4 diff. pictures its the burst mode. its great so anyone in india wants to buy this phone pleae buy it its cooooooool. if any queries and question mail me at above email address. sony rules........

I just got this phone three days ago and loving it so far except for one thing....i can't set mp3s that i load onto the phone as ringtones, only the ones that i buy. I've tried searching for programs that would get around this but havent found one that works yet. Can anyone help me?????????
