i think this is a great fone. the fact that the music is played at a better volume than most other fones really boosts the fones potential.

like the psp, sony supply ear friendly headphones so they restrict the volume ouput. that is why it is good to get normal headphones for the w810i as it does have a 3.5mm jack

I've read all the comments about how loud the phone is, i'm upgrading to a w810i from a w800,now i thought volume was low on my w800 but i've since replaced the sony headphones with creative ep in ear ones (around £25)and have found the difference incredible could it be the supplied sony ones are rubbish, i certainly think so.

yo i just wanted to know, the w800 n w700 state that you can have upto 30hours music playback. is this the same for the w810??

hi i have the softwere vertion CXC1250316 R4CE012 is the a new verion out yet because i heard the is and when a go to update on my w810i it says (your phone already has the latest software)

the volume it is the same, the only that changes it's the video option and recording. If you wanna hear loudder, buy a hi-fi system, it's only a cell phone

There is already a new firmware for w810. The new sw version is cxc1250317 r4ck003. The bugs mentioned before are already fixed in this new version. So to potential buyers, before getting the phone, check the sw version first, or if u already have the phone, have it upgraded at your local service centers or u can do it over the air (if available in ur area). To check sw version, go to settings>general>update service>software version.

Not sure if this has already been asked but has anyone had problems with the flash? twice ive noticed that i went to take a picture with the light on and instead of it staying on, it flashes. Any ideas?
Apart from that i think the phone is great, just had one or 2 problems with file formats and the usb software aint too good either.

with disc2phone software supplied u have to download a whole cd, cant see way of just picking certain tracks, or am i missing something?

Want to know whether W810 can record and view MPEG4 video (358X488) instead of the old (174X244). I am looking forward to buy but if cannot, then will switch to Nokia.

Oooh! Although I read all the comments posted in here...good or bad...I still wanted to get my hands on this phone. So I just did!!! I ordered it and will be a proud owner soooooooooon :o) Hope it's an upgraded firmware model. Wish me luck! lol

To Polakis: In some regions if u put the phone on silent the camera shutter sound is off. U cannot play an mp3 or recorded sound and the person u r talking to to hear it.
