@Retrix in previous posts have persons wihtout that problem. But the main reason for this is - all of these problem phones are from the first batch. The second is much later because to fix the problem for market before send the phones. I'm sure soon will be firmware fixing the first batch's problem. I could'n find the exactly SAR value.. in the internet Manuels doesn't written,in the website too..

I have found no bugs with my W810i so far and I have played with it a lot.
As to the question about IM's I couldn't say as mine has the O2 software. I usualy get my phones from carphonewarehouse as their phones are always unlocked and unbranded but for various reasons I had to go with O2.

Just out of cureosity does anyone who has this phone not have the flashing light problem? Because I don't think I've seen someone say they haven't.

@Carbonize - Thanks. I also want to ask what can be used trough phone's Instant Messaging,i couldn't find any information. I guess at least ICQ should be used much easier with that IM,owners?

Jay the people you bought it from possibly import them from China as they can buy them cheap in the Far East.
crazy_boy yes the headphones are black but as you have a standard 3.5mm headphone socket in the handsfree dongle you can use any headphones you like.

Hi,i just bought this phone online(onestopphone shop),and I am a bit confused about the handfree accessory is in black color rather than grey as shown in SE website,and the PC suite pack even has chinese on it.I am not sure is that a FAKE one or not?Does anyone got the phone like this?

The W810i will record video in either 3GP or MP4 depending on what you choose. If you choose high quality it uses MP4 but if you say it is for MMS it choses 3GP.

Wow, this W810i records video in MP4 format.. Im highly impressed. The specs say its 3GP but when i upload it to my computer is shows as MP4 format... :)

anyways i was really convinced to buy this phone until i saw pictures of the new sidekick 3!
i have fallen in in lov wiht it, altho its nothing compared to european phones, in the u.s. its like a bar of gold...
anyway i just wanna ask for your opinion on witch phone ....

None of the earlier SE phones had as much bugs as this W 810i. Dont know what happened.

now u know what kind of products Sony Ericsson has! they release W810 without proper testing, caution and did NOT fix d problems b4 it reaches d shelves, wow, is dat wat u call quality???????? if i were u i'd rather return it and exchange it for 3250 or any other more reliable model! for me, SE is always NOT a reliable phone (i had K750i b4 but eventually i gave it to my niece bcoz i can't stand it!) yeah SE has great camera, mp3 player but when it comes to what a CELLPHONE is really USED for it just DISAPPOINTS bcoz cellphones are really made for COMMUNICATION! that also explains y SE is behind the mobile market share versus motorola and samsung and that's a FACT! even SE makes a 5mpx CCD sensor walkman and cybershot labeled phone but if it has stupid BUGS and its NOT easy to USE with low signal, weak earpiece, screen becoming white, all black screenSaver, nonSTop flashing and d list goes on its FUTILE, SE will just keep on loosing market share!

sofar i loved this phone , got it about a week now and all i can say is.... perfect
only 1 problem with the bluetooth, it makes my phone freeze , but that can also be because my pc's bleutooth doesnt work rly good.

Almost 100% is sure that it have new firmware for the older versions who fixes the problems! From the "problem" with black screen you make a big problem! When you saw for last time SE to turns off itself just like that.. ?! Even with the oldest firmware in any SE phone won't happen that!! If you want clock,then push one button and ready! It's not so hard..!! For the flash problem,missed calls and master volume it should have new update for this !

HARDMAN where did you see MUCM in my post ? :D I'm jocking.. ;)
Afcorse SE will fix the problems! They cary about their buyers,very good in fact compared to other brands. You should have patience,SE won't ever let their phone with such problems,this is not Siemens with 2345 firmwares and still problems,so don't worry and don't be so angry,it's not healthy. Ask in your nearest SE service or market for these problems,or email as i said. Every problem have it's fix. Always!

To: MUBU - Thanks for the tips! Not practical to have to do that, but now I know.
To: MUCM: Since you don't have the phone you can't instruct me to turn off the power saving because there is no power saving option. Besides, thanks for making me feel better that SonyEricsson will fix the LIGHT problem and the DROPPED CALLS problem.
