To Who Me, i have also had problems with buying a tariff (£30.00) a month i orderd it and got an email telling me that it will arrive on the chosen date i asked for and no other email i waited in all day and the phone did not arrive, i phoned the o2 online custermer support or whatever line it was (cant remember which line it was now) and they just said because your already on a contract with 02 that me ordering the phone is looking like im just trying to upgrade the other phone i have, they said i will have to go to a highstreet store and tell them what happend online and they should give me the 02 online offers in the store, can this be done?

not guessing...but "hoping/assuming" that my renewal will be void and it'll be as if I haven't upgraded or done anything.

I gave o2 online a ring to question it and just asked if the prices to upgrade online and in store are the same, the lady on the other end of the phone said that i should get it for the same price as o2 online are offering it for...but then I told her the whole story and she said that they are on a different system so that might explain it. I've decided to take it back anyways, will let them know how disappointed I am and everything see if there's anything they can do. But every person I've spoken to on the phone about the phone has told me that I'd get it free, suppose I've waited this long might as well wait a few more weeks...though if I take the phone back I'm guessing that this will void my upgrade/contract renewal with them right?

i work for o2 too if you have been told over the phone within the last 30 days that you would get this phone for free then o2 have to honor that if you have paid £79.99 then that means that you dont speand a lot on your phone a month as that upgrade banding is usally only given to cust who havent upgraded in the last 24 months and dont spean a great deal so i would go back to store and question that and the guy in the store was right on o2 online and o2 offline being diffenent they have there own tairffs, systems and departments etc from offline....

Got this phone as an upgrade from an o2 store (luckily they got the last batch today then it's wait til may)..though now I'm having second thoughts. When I phoned the upgrade line they told me the phone will be free (Just FYI I phoned many, many times as I'm sure a lot of you out there have too)so I thought "Fantastic, free upgrade I can see the perks of upgrading and being a loyal customer". (It was even better when I called and the chap I was speaking to said they had them in stock and that i'd get the phone in 3-5days...only to later get a phonecall from him to tell me that actually they didn't have any in stock) Anyways back to the story...I go to the store after I finished work and they tell me it's £79.99 to upgrade which was a bit of a shock. The guy said that o2 online is a different part of the company and so can offer different prices on upgrades. (Drew, is this true?) They treat it as an upgrade in store..so seeing as I've been wanting this phone for a while (since Jan which is when my original contract ended) I decided to go for it. Little did I know, I came back home and went onto the o2 website and found that they're offering new customers the phone for £29.99!! Which I feel is a bit unfair, like someone said it seems that they are more interested in signing up new customers than catering for existing ones. It's more a matter of principle I feel. So now I don't know whether to take it back unopened (within the 14 days) or not.

U can order the phone on the sites where it sais check price once u click on a phone
i got 2 phones of hi-mobile.net and plemix.com
There is no phone liki this in canada so this is the way for us to get MAD cellphones

I got my w810i on o2 last week, I too have the flashing light problem but happens to me when in camera mode.
I can take the first picture fine with the light on but after that it continues to flash, very annoying.
Phone is very good in all other aspects.

mannitol: I have the exact same peoblem with the flashing light. It works for about 5 seconds or so and then begins to flash on and off each second. I have been looking everywhere for a fix but can't find one. If you find a way to fix it I would appreciate it if you posted the answer here and I shall do the same. I think I will try going to a store on the weekend and ask someone in person if it is normal. I have noticed that it remains on while on the charger, is this the same with you?

Angie: yes, there is a flight mode.
Went to stores today, none had it, one store said they will have it available on thursday so will go get it then.

Hi guys,
Got my W810 yesterday morning and am chuffed to bits with it. However there are one or two things I have noticed which I've not read about here.
Firstly, when I access the light mode under the activities nav.button, the light will flash on and off after about 10 seconds (in "on" mode). My phone doesn't freeze or crash and I just turned the light off to stop this.
If I am in camera mode, sometimes the shutter button will blink on and off (an LED behind it goes off). It's happened two or three times and just stops on its own.
Final thing is that I can't seem to do anything with camera images on my phone. I can't rename them even if I try and do it under the "memory card" tab (as opposed to phone/memory card tab) and I can't move them to a folder I have created. This is possible to do when plugged into the PC, but I don't want to plug it into the PC all the time! It's an annoyance. I mean, even my Neonode could do this.
Oh and for those talking about contracts and where you got the phone - I got the handset for £29.99 on a £19/month contract (one year) on the o2 website, which so far I think is the cheapest option if you can't upgrade (I upgraded about a month earlier to an XDA Executive and at the time was holding out for the K800. Glad I got this now though =D )

o2's problem is they would rather take care of new customer than keep hold of their exsiting customer no wonder thay are loosing so many customers cause every time you call them you just get fobbed off with one excuse or another.

Is it better then the W800i, no they are equal.
Whats the diff, not much from a user point of view just general tweaks here and there o and of course the colour.
