does anyone know when or if a firmware upgrade will be available? I just call SE and they said there is nothing planed yet which is contradictory to info i read on this form.

I've just ordered the W810i from my local O2 retailer after customer services said they didn't have any! My opinion is to get a phone upgrade (I had a band C phone so no discount there, however band D,E,F,H all get some!) which cost me about £70. Everyone in the shop had already ordered one!
I'll be tinkering around with it tommorrow!

when you have a 2gb card, can you put the whole card full with mp3 and play them all with the w810i, or is there a limited ammount of mp3 the phone can handle?

Anyone with this phone know how to delete the Greeting.m4a and Sony Ericsson.midi sound files? This wouldn't really be a problem if they didn't appear in the Walkman track list!

You should put your video bitrate at 128kbps, 15fps, AAC audio at bitrate 128kbps in 176x144 to get your video clear and fluid with excellent sound.

Thank you for your advice and comment. The disadvantage of W810 is when it comes to contacts and you have a friend who has more than one mobile number, or the same friend has two or three homes in different countries, in this case the phone can only hold as you have mentioned, where as the Nokia phone you can have several Mobile numbers under the same name i.e. Mobile home or Mobile business and it also allows you to edit the title. Other than that I do not have any problems.

I dropped it down to 15 fps and it still skips. I dont know what else to do to get this mp4 to play right.

Hey James thanks for your reply. I tried what u said to set a song on the memory stick as my ringtone but when I go to when I get to the step to add ringtone to contact the only ringtones I see is the ones that comes with the phone. I don't see the songs. SO HOW TO I GET A PARTICULAR SONG TO BE ON THE RINGTONE LIST WHEN I GET TO THAT STEP. THANKS
